Family Fishing Trip

The house was great, exactly as advertised and we had a wonderful stay. David was awesome and very quick on responses. Would recommend and will likely book again for a future trip.

Mink Creek House

Had a great time. Location is excellent. We had 6 adults, 3 trucks, 3 trailers and 3 boats. Plenty parking and room for all. Would definitely stay here again.

Fishing Trip

This was a great /convenient place to stay especially for fishing. Easy access to the dock. We were able to park 2 trucks and trailers with no problem.

Family gathering

Enjoyed the set up of the house, however we had to do some cleaning in the kitchen and dining room. The light fixtures in those rooms was gritty and greasy with dead nat like bugs stuck to them. There are cobwebs throughout the house. We couldn't use the fireplace because you can smell the gas when it's on. The dryer does not work properly. The wooden bedframe in the middle bedroom, creaks every time you move. I thought I was going to keep waking up my roommate. There's a daddy long legs living in the first bathroom. We did enjoy our stay but I felt you should be aware.

Nice Get away

Very clean and nice home. Made my fishing trip a blast. Took me a couple days to figure out the bass bite but Lake Guntersville did not disappoint.

4th of July

My family and I stayed here for the 4th. It was exactly what we needed. The house was exactly as pictured, and so clean. We had so much fun and loved waking up to being right on the lake every morning. The hosts were absolutely incredible. If we needed something they were in contact with us within a few hours. We ended up having car trouble and needed to quickly stay an extra night, and within no time everything was taken care of. They helped keep some calm in a very stressful situation. We would absolutely stay here again!

Quiet getaway

We had the most relaxing vacation. The guys enjoyed kayaking and fishing while the ladies enjoyed relaxing and area shopping. The house had plenty of room for our family of 6 plus a baby. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of seating at the table. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of towels. Great place & somewhere we would visit again.

Perfect lake house!

We stayed at this house for a second time! it's perfect for our fishing trips. The house itself is very nice and well taken care of. Everything was in working order and there's plenty of space. It has everything you need to be comfortable.

Great Escape

The house was immaculate, you could eat off the floors!!! Great location on the water for fishing. Plenty of space to park your boat and vehicle. We would recommend putting your boat in the water first before going to the property as it’s a tight turn into the driveway from the street. Love the easy of check in. Dave was great in responding to anything we needed! We would definitely stay there again!!

Good place

We were there for fishing a couple days. The house was in a great location on the lake and really nice. The boat dock was great and easily accessible. The house is also extremely close to the boat ramp. The driveway is a little tricky backing in a boat trailer but if you're experienced doing it not a problem. The place is really clean and nice. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative is the landscaping and weeds by the sidewalk. Sort of makes you weary if it might be poison ivy or something else. Although, we walked all through it so maybe it's not an issue. Also, it was easy dealing with the owners and they seemed very friendly. I would recommend staying here to others.

Fishing trip

Inside was fine and adequate. Outside sitting area was. It well kept. Overflowing ash trays, dirty chairs. Did not want to sit outside. This property has a good view of the lake and adequate outdoor space but fungi shine were shabby and dirty.

Perfect for fishing

We stayed here for a weekend fishing trip and it was absolutely perfect!! The house is very spacious and in great condition. It's in a great location and absolutely perfect for fishing!

Great secluded spot

The house was extremely clean and as described. Our favorite part was having the dock so close and we were even able to catch a couple of fish. David was great at checking in with us. Overall we had a great stay at the Mink Creek Manor.

Such a great family vacation!

Quick trip

He drove down from Michigan to visit my mom for a few days and the house was perfect. The location is in the middle of everything Cathedral Caverns was just up the road and in between Guntersville and Scottsboro. David was easily accessible at all times for any of our questions. He is a great host!

Great place to stay.

We had a great time during our stay. The property and house were clean, and exactly as presented on the website. The property manager, David was extremely helpful when we had to contact him. We will definitely keep this house in mind when we go to rent again in the future, while visiting the lake area.
