Rual setting walking distance to old city great staff exceptional food and additional pub. Good for relaxing base with spacious rooms. Couldnt find a more helpful staff at any hotel. And i stay at the # 1,3,4 and 5 intne world and thos staff beates them all

All areas of hotel & zimmer absolutely spotless. Staff friendly & helpful , no problems, brilliant. Hotel , situated in quite area of town on outskirts, 20 minute walk down into centre, but be warned killer of a walk back up to Hotel.

A modern room in a old-school hotel. Friendly staff as accommodating as could be. Restaurant serving traditional fare. Great walking/cycling in the area. Wifi worked but was a bit slow

quiet hotel with good food and drink.

This was a great place one mile walk to town. You felt like you were in the country with locals. Pub is great, except smoking is alowed and everyone smokes.

Pleasant Stop-over

Clean, spacious, comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff, and easy parking. The only negative was the service at dinner, and selection at breakfast seemed affected due to a bus tour and generally busy time.

a picture perfect spot

If you want a great hotel, off the beaten path, this one is perfect. Since it's outside of the town, it was difficult to find. Once there, it was worth it. The room was great & the breakfast was wonderful. The meals that we had in the attached restaurant were also delicious. The staff were very friendly & helpful & we must salute the local bus driver who gave us a ride back to the hotel after we mistakenly got on the wrong bus.
