Lovely Stay

Lovely place to stay - shame I arrived late and had to leave early. Great service, lovely breakfast. biggest downside was the car parking - I arrived too late and the car park was full (not the hotels problem) but the on street parking would only allow me to book for 1 hour at a time from 6am... very annoying!

Hotel was closed upon arrival (11pm) and despite being promised a "night" check in, nobody was available at the hotel nor via the 24/7 phone number provided at reception. We tried to reach someone for an hour and were then forced to book another hotel across the street. What's worse, the hotel did not offer a refund for the missed night. Unacceptable.

Great hotel in old town square, walkable to everywhere. Super friendly staff. Hotel private parking is across the street, which makes it ideal. Room was spacious for being an older hotel. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Classic hotel at old town

Traditional German hotel in a very old classic building which looks great but has also issues as it is that old. We had a newer room (1980’s?) which had a double bed that definitely needs new mattresses! Good breakfast and friendly staff. This hotel is just next to the main church at the edge of the old town.

It was enjoyable to stay right in center of town. But lift door was frighteningly noisy. Because of heavy traffic outside there wasn’t much sleep to get. Recommend rooms further towards market place. Room service not very friendly

Hotel mit Verbesserungspotential

2 (2Pers.) Ubernachtungen fĂŒr beruflichen Aufenthalt. Bereits im vergangenen Jahr schon mal dort ĂŒbernachtet. Das Hotel hat seine besten Jahre augenscheinlich schon vor lĂ€ngerer Zeit ĂŒberschritten u. zehrt "nur" noch von seiner guten Stadtlage. Auch furs Reinigungspersonal gut sichtbare Spinnweben ĂŒberm Bett - wurden nicht entfernt . 1 MĂŒlleimer (Bad) entging der Lehrung. Zimmerboden mutmasslich nicht grĂŒndlich gereinigt, da entsprechende Spuren vom Morgen auch Abends noch vorhanden waren. Wurde bei Abreise dann auch entsprechend reklamiert ! Fernseher am 1. Abend komplett "tot" - Reklamation am Morgen. Abends Fernbedienung scheins mit frischen Batterien, Fernseher weiterhin "tot". Erneute Reklamation, dann wurde umstĂ€ndlich doch noch durch GerĂ€teaustausch fur Abhilfe gesorgt. Leider dann beim neuen GerĂ€t nur sehr eingeschrĂ€nkte Programmauswahl ( z. B. RTL nicht vorhanden). FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbufett konnte nicht durch Frische, Auswahl u. QualitĂ€t ĂŒberzeugen, fĂŒr mich / uns nur mehr dĂŒrftiges Preis-/LeistungsverhĂ€ltnis. Wie bereits beim letzten Aufenthalt, gabs schwarzen Tee wieder nur auf gezielte Nachfrage beim Personal u. nicht im vorhandenen Teesortiment. Weitere AufzĂąhlungen/AusfĂŒhrungen erspare ich mir hier. Pers..Fazit: beim nĂ€chsten SHA Aufenthalt nicht mehr auf meiner (u. auch anderer Mitarbeiter) Such-/Buchungsliste, da TripInn - Hotels (heuer auch in Göttingen !) mutmasslich mit notwendigen Investments (Ausstattung, Qualitat, Personal) "zurĂŒckhaltend" umgeht.
