We had a fabulous experience booking this beautiful home for Memorial Day Weekend with our large extended family. Cindy and Andy were wonderful to work with. And Andy was so responsive and helpful throughout our visit. This home has a great layout for multiple families to enjoy but the real star for us was the grounds. Despite the rainy cool weather, the pool was heated so we were all able to swim and enjoy the hot tub as well. The yard is huge and flat so we were able to set up family volleyball bocci and other activities and we spent every evening by the large fire pit with enough chairs for our whole group. We would definitely stay again! PS so close to great restaurants and if you have kids with your group, 6 minutes from Captain Mike’s Fun Park which was a huge hit for our family!

The home is very nice, well-stocked, spacious and family-friendly. The hosts left us a lovely gift bag full of local favorites, which was really thoughtful and appreciated. We had ten family members for Thanksgiving. Everyone had comfy beds, large well-appointed bathrooms, and room to spread out. The double dishwashers and laundry appliances were a plus. We did not use the pool, due to the season; but, the hot tub was most enjoyable. The pool and ping-pong tables provided a lot of amusement, as well. We would love to rent this home again, especially in the summer, when we can enjoy all of the backyard fun, pool and also the beach. We have rented many homes, world-wide, and this was one of the best. Many Thanks!

This home is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as described. We hosted our wedding weekend here for our closest family and friends and had a spectacular time. This is the perfect place for a large group. The pool and hot the were both immaculately clean. The whole experience was wonderful.

Our go-to rental in SW MI

My extended family of 12 thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at this lovely property! We did morning yoga on the rooftop patio, swam in the pool all afternoon, made delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and visited the many great nearby destinations. We look forward to coming back for a third visit next time!

Vacation house

Our 5 year grandson called this our “vacation house”. It was everything and more than we expected! Beautiful home, luxurious bedding and towels, fully equipped kitchen and much more. The pool was equivalent to a fancy hotel. Best thing was the electric pool cover for child safety. Best stay ever!!

Best home in SW Michigan

This place is absolutely GORGEOUS. The home is so spacious, there were 16 of us and we all had more than enough room for ourselves, as well as ample gathering space. Checking in/out and communicating with the host was a breeze, and they provided great recommendations of things to do, restaurants, catering options, etc. We will definitely be coming back!

Unforgettable Weekend

We enjoyed the spectacular home for our moms 80th birthday celebration. A thoughtful and delicious gift basket was provided for her arrival. The property was immaculate and the outdoor fire pit and hot tub were big hits for our fall weekend stay! We would love to return in the summer to enjoy the amazing pool. The house is well stocked and incredibly comfortable for a large group. The location is great. We always received quick responses to all of our questions. Everyone in our group would recommend highly.

Perfect Michigan summer getaway

We had the perfect stay here! The home is even better in person than the pictures. We had plenty of room for 20 guests. The beds were comfortable and each room was extremely clean. The kitchen was the most well equipped rental we have ever stayed in. We hope to be back again one day!

Family Reunion

To begin with, from the booking of the Sawyer to the final checkout, everything was more than expected. When communicating with management a reply was always received very promptly and questions were answered thoroughly, and I emailed a LOT of questions. The house and yard were amazing. Welcome basket, coffee bar, smores kit, all bathrooms stocked with items you might have forgot (q-tips, cotton rounds, etc.). More than enough space for our family of 16 adults and 7 children from newborn through 8. Having so many bedrooms and bathrooms made gave everyone they're own space and privacy. We were able to utilize everything from the outside pool, bar, firepit, patio furniture, and yard. We also used the upstairs deck and loved it. The kitchen was a dream and having 2 refrigerators really helped with food and beverage storage. Pool table and ping pong tournaments went on throughout the stay. I cannot find one negative thing to say about our stay. All adults and kids loved everything about our stay. If anyone is on the fence about staying at the Sawyer Estate, I would highly recommend going for it, You won't be disappointed. Thank you Sawyer Estate management for thinking of everything and making our family reunion one that will always be remembered.

5-Star Family Reunion

After a lot of planning and research, we recently held a large multi-generational family reunion at the Sawyer Estates and the property did not disappoint. Having planned many reunions over the years, I can say this property is truly exceptional. All of the big and little details have been thoughtfully planned. A few highlights that we really appreciated included: - Temporary ramp installation on the side of the house provided wheelchair access for our guests - Backyard was incredible: Outdoor kitchen/bar, resort-sized pool, fully fenced and very level yard to enjoy lawn games, a fabulous fire pit, Yeti tumblers to keep pool-side drinks cold, and the perfect mix of sun and shade. We spent almost all of our time outdoors. - Excellent beds, bedding, towels, and extra blankets around the house left our guests wanting to purchase the same products for their own homes. - Chefs kitchen enabled us to easily prepare meals for a large number of people (2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, a KitchenAid mixer, and high-end range/stove). - Responsive Management team: When severe storms washed out sand under a few patio tiles creating a tripping hazard by the pool, a crew was onsite to make repairs over the weekend in just a couple of hours. Thank you for providing such a memorable stay.

Great family getaway

We used The Sawyer House as a place to gather our family for a week long birthday celebration. Ages ranged from 90-13! A fabulous, beautiful place with everything provided including generous gift baskets with all needed to get started. All equipment and supplies were top-drawer quality level. Communication and response from property management excellent. Excellent game equipment. Several big screen tv’s including one o/s where we watched movies every night. Big, big pool which I suspect is a salt facility since no chlorine odor and it’s affect on skin. Upstairs bedroom privacy takes some compromise as access to some is through an adjacent bedroom. Not a problem for us as a family. All bedding, towels etc were excellent quality including plenty of pool towels. Great washers and dryers. For us (the older couple) the downstairs bed was luxurious but overly soft! A quiet, big preserve in a lovely little town setting We couldn’t recommend this facility more highly. It’s really special

An absolute dream home

This was by far the best experience possible; from easy communication with the owner/team to the pleasure of staying in an absolute dream home! The space is so well thought out, plenty of bedrooms/baths complete with luxury linens, and several seatings areas to relax. Truly makes a large group of family or friends feel comfortable. They thought of everything too... fully stocked bathrooms, chefs kitchen, coffee bar, stunning outdoor space with heated pool. And spotless! We loved every second we got to spend at the house. A Wonderful Weekend

What a fantastic property! My girlfriends and I stayed for the weekend for a quick getaway girl's trip, and we had an amazing time. The property is impressive and has everything you need to host a group, large or small. We visited in the winter months, so we didn't have the opportunity to access the outdoor space, but even without being able to enjoy the pool and outdoor bar, the property was perfect for our needs. I highly recommend the Sawyer Country Estate, and we look forward to returning!
