Great location, easily walkable to all of historic Savannah. Hosts were very helpful, even allowing us to store luggage before checkin. Space was clean and spacious enough for 4.

Great location/stay

Property is very centrally located which makes for easy walking to nearby restaurants, river street, etc. Every where you want to be within about a 10 minute walk. Kitchen is very tight but well suited should decide to prepare a meal. Controlled access to building was nice and easy. Was able to consistently get on the street parking on Oglethorpe (2hr 8-8). If park one street to the south, parking is 1hr 8-5. Size wise, well-suited for 2-4 adults.Comments from others are accurate and our experience was very positive with no negative issues/concerns. Would definitely stay again if opportunity is available.

Fun Trip With The Grandkids

We had a great time! We definitely enjoyed the property and the location was close to everything we wanted to do. We walked a lot and seldom moved the vehicle. I definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again. Parker Family of KY, May 2025

Nice roomy 2BR/bath in good location

Each bedroom has a king bed and adjoining bathroom. We walked to everything except Tybee Island. What a beautiful area, lots of shaded squares, so it didn't feel as hot as temps said. A strange sticky spot on sheets in one bed, as well as night noise on the street side were the only cons; Overall a great stay. Nicely appointed kitchen.

Couples Trip

This was a perfect property for 2 couples. 2 spacious BR w/king beds and two full baths gave us privacy with the generous living room providing a great shared space for us to talk and catch up. The building is charming. The kitchen was super small but well equipped. This was no problem as we didn’t come to cook. Location was outstanding. We used the car one time to drive to Tybee. Everything else was in easy walking distance. It would have been nice to have free parking but understandable that we had to pay since we were downtown in a size able city. Highly recommend this place.

Great location, very clean

Excellent location, very clean. Some road noise in one of the bedrooms but really not bad overall compared to hotels on bay street. We're planning to stay here again next time we're in town.

No garbage bags, nor kleenex were provided. A pillow upgrade would provide a better nights sleep. Great having two king size beds and ensuites. Location super! We would stay again!

Nice place

The neighborhood is great. Close to a lot of great places to eat and shop. The bedrooms are not very quiet though. Particularly the one facing the alley. Otherwise, it was pleasant and a nice place for my friends and I to stay. We enjoyed it .

Very nice!

We loved Modern Retreat. It is a perfect place for two couples with both bedrooms having their own bathroom. It is easy walking distance to all places in Historic Savannah District. Very clean and had everything we needed.

Nice location in Savannah

We met another couple in Savannah for a long weekend. The place was very nice. We had some issues upon entry as The Address given on VRBO was different than what was on the building. But we figured it out. Also there were two keys in the lock box and one did not fit the outside door nor the door to the condo. But we figured it out just using one key and the code to get in the unit. Otherwise a great place

Great place!

Loved your place! We had a little bit of an issue finding it, but the property management was so kind and sent someone to assist us. They were very responsive. We loved the house, it was quiet and very clean. The area was perfect for all we wanted to see all over Savannah.

GREAT PLACE, GREAT LOCATION

We had a great time and loved staying here. The place is so comfortable and very clean. The best part is that it is centrally located and walking distance to everything in downtown Savannah. We will definitely stay here again when we make another trip to this beautiful city!

Coming Back!

Came to get our daughter moved into her new apartment. Made sure our visit included time to explore Savannah. The apartment was centrally located, walking distance to most of Historic Savannah . It was clean, well appointed, with comfortable beds and furniture

Trip to Savannah with friends

Everything was wonderful except for the checkin process. We were given a code to open the lockbox to get our key to the building. However, there were 12 lockboxes and none were labeled. We tried them over and over, (unfortunately in a pouring down rain) and tried to contact the management. finally got help identifying the correct lockbox which was not even close to the front door. Once we got in it was lovely and we throughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We would absolutely recommend this unit. Just please change the check in procedure.
