The property and house are lovely. That said, check-in was confusing because there are three houses on the property and no directional signage to clarify which is which. The main driveway puts you BEHIND the rental house; it’s not immediately obvious that you need to go through a gate and around to find the front door. The yard and patios around the rental are also overgrown - there are major grasses and weeds growing between the flagstones. The vegetation under the outdoor dining tables, benches, and grill fills what should be open space! That said, we and our dogs loved the yard, pond, and woods, even though the weather during our stay (high heat, major rain) was not ideal for much outdoor time. The house is super comfortable, as well. The only thing lacking were mattress pads on the beds. Instead there was just a fitted sheet over the crinkly-sounding mattress protector. That’s an easy fix. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and will happily book again if the opportunity arises.
