On the website you find detailed information about the cabin, surrondings and activities: hiking trails, skiing trails and tracks, fishing, lots of photos, useful lincs and maps.

The cabin lies peacefully and secluded on 700 meters altitude in northern Dalarna. It is close to nature reserves with beautiful hiking and skiing possibillities – an area with mountain peaks 1100 meters above sea level, glittering lakes and old forests. StĂ€djan-NipfjĂ€llet among other mountains. It's also close to one of Dalarnas best ski slopes.

ACCOMODATION – 4+1 bed, sauna & fireplace in a cosy atmosfere.
After a day with hiking or skiing you can relax in front of the fireplace or in the sauna. Gather in the evening sun and barbecue. You have the place for yourselves. A step from the cabin you will find yourself in a beautiful old forest where the night sky's stars and the northern light gives a moment of contemplation. Our accommodation is not suitable for familys with very small children. For example he stair towards the upper floor – the only bedroom in the main house – is very steep (visible on photo and film ).

The main cabin (70 sq m) with 4 beds is comfortable and well equipped: Light renovated kitchen with electric stove/oven, wood fired stove, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, coffee machine and more. Cosy living room with fireplace and a spacious sofa. Several games and a smaller library. Cosy upper floor with double bed, three sleeping lofts, pool table, sofa and table. Toilet with shower. Entrance with drier/shoe-dryer and storage for clothes/shoes for the large family. Outlet for motor heater available.

Guest cabin with 2 beds (12 sq m) on the yard for those wishing to be secluded. There you have a fireplace, electric heating, dining table, bunk bed, stove with two hotplates.

SUMMER – Hiking and fishing.
The cabin lies secluded with miles of unspoiled wild wood with key biotopes, reserves and different mountains. It's close to StÀdjan-NipfjÀllet and VedungsfjÀllens nature reserve, which has Dalarnas second highest peak. You're able to make beautiful hikes and a peak climbing with view towards Norway. Our guests use the cabin as a base also for trips to Dalarnas highest mountain in grövelsjön, trips to the worlds oldest tree and Sweden's highest waterfall on FulufjÀllet. WINTER - Skiing on the slopes, winter trails & cross country tracks.
Some of Dalarna best slopes are within easy reach, such as FjÀtervÄlen Ski Resort and Idre FjÀll. With the combined ski ticket "Idrepasset" you can ski on both places. The surrounding nature reserves, StÀdjan-NipfjÀllet and VedungsfjÀllen, offers crossmarked winter trails with beautiful views.

SURROUNDINGS - High mountains and deep valleys.
The cabin is situated in the peaceful and secluded village HÀggberget in northern Dalarna, between StÀdjan-NipfjÀllet and VedungsfjÀllens nature reserve. The yard lies open, next to an old pasture, with view towards the watercourse StorfjÀtan. You might bee able to see elk, fox, dears, traces of beaver and wolverine.

A beautiful and cozy cottage, the perfect place to explore the mountains in the region. We made a number of fantastic hikes in the surroundings; the weather was not to nice, but that made relaxing in the sauna after the hiking all the more enjoyable. The cottage is well equipped with everythig, its was also very nice to have a little fire in the kitchen stove in the morning. Maria was a great host; she always responded quickly to our requests and everything was really uncomplicated.

Fantastic nature/wildlife

Fantastic holiday in a dreamlike setting.Cozy holiday cabin with everything you need.The nature is breathtaking. We saw plenty of reindeer, moose, deer, and foxes.An ideal place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Always a great stay

Schöne und Ruhige Gegend

Wir waren eine Woche in der Unterkunft und es hat uns sehr gefallen, die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig, man die möglichkeit Wandern zu gehen aber auch bei einem schlechten Tag kann man die Zeit super im Haus genießen bei Brettspielen, Billiard und abends in die Sauna.

Sehr schönes, sehr ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus. FĂŒr alle, die es sehr ruhig mögen. Wallbox am Haus war super, da wir mit einem E-Auto unterwegs waren. Schöne Wanderungen möglich, aber etwas entfernt vom Haus. Auto unbedingt notwendig. Schnelle und einfache Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin.

gemĂŒtliches HĂ€uschen weit ab vom Schuss

Das Haus war sehr gemĂŒtlich. Da das Wetter sehr wechselhaft und recht kĂŒhl fĂŒr Juli/August war, kamen wir auch in den Genuss des Kamins und der Sauna. Die Natur ist sehr beeindruckend und man bekommt einige Tiere zu Gesicht. Wir waren sehr froh Gummistiefel dabei zu haben, sodass wir uns auch in sumpfigem GelĂ€nde frei bewegen konnten.

GemĂŒtliche HĂŒtte mit Flussblick

Das kleine Anwesen liegt am Rande eines Weilers, der aus zwei BauernhĂ€usern und einer Anzahl FerienhĂŒtten besteht. Vom Haus hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Fluss in ca. 200m Entfernung. Die umgebenden WĂ€lder zeigten im Laufe unseres Aufenthaltes immer schöner werdendes Herbstlaub. Es gibt viele Birken, sehr viele Rentiere und auch Elche. Einen haben wir ca. 1km vom Haus entfernt gesehen. Die Berge der Umgebung bieten viele schöne Wanderwege mit teilweise schon alpinem Feeling. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Urlaub in Ruhe

Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit liebt, der ist in diesem Objekt genau richtig. Wir haben uns zum Schlafen auf das Haupthaus und das Nebenhaus aufgeteilt. Somit hatten wir sehr viel Platz fĂŒr die Kleidung und Wandersachen. Die steile Treppe zum Obergeschoß (schlafen) war fĂŒr uns kein Problem, muss aber erwĂ€hnt werden. Ein GeschirrspĂŒhler ist nicht vorhanden. Alles ist gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet und vermittelt sofort einen heimeligen Eindruck. Es gibt einige lohnende Wanderziele im direkten Umkreis (20km). Der Start begann bei uns immer mit dem Auto. Die Natur ist herrlich und im direkten Umfeld des Hauses sind sehr sehr wenige Wanderer anzutreffen. Die zwei Regentage haben wir mit Idre und kleinen Wanderungen abgedeckt. Outdoor-Alternativen gibt es wenige. Hier steht wandern in einsamer wunderschöner Natur im Vordergrund.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Wir haben in diesem wunderschönen Haus eine Woche verbracht. Es ist toll eingerichtet und bietet viele Annehmlichkeiten wie Grill, Kamin, eine Sauna und sogar Wifi. Dennoch ist man sehr abgeschieden, was genau den Reiz dieses Hauses ausmacht. In der Gegend kann man stundenlang abseits aller Wege durch WÀlder und Moore streifen. Mit etwas Fahrzeit erreicht man spektakulÀre Nationalparks. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt!

Natur pur und eine gemĂŒtliche Stuga

Die HĂŒtte liegt auf einem sehr schönen und großen NaturgrundstĂŒck in Sichtweite des Flusses. Sehr urig eingerichtet, alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Besonders toll ist die Sauna mit Blick auf den Fluss. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr viele Wandertouren und sehr netter Kontakt mit der Besitzerin Maria .

Abgelegen und ruhig. Erholung garantiert!

Es war genau, wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben: Weihnachten im Schnee! PERFEKT! Keine Böller, keine Raketen zum Jahreswechsel. Himmlische Ruhe. Kommunikation mit der Vermieterung: unkompliziert und freundlich. Sehr schnelle Reaktion auf e-mail. Nur Radio, kein TV, dafĂŒr WLAN. Reichte und völlig. Vielen Dank fĂŒr dieses Objekt in dieser wunderschönen Gegend und Lage. Wir wĂŒrden gerne wiederkommen, aber 12 Stunden mit dem Auto ab Trelleborg macht man dann doch nicht so oft im Leben. FĂŒr uns wird es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub bleiben. DANKE DANKE DANKE

Mooie en rustige omgeving.

Huisje was bij aankomst beetje stoffig, en er lagen nog kruimels op de eettafel. En ook het servies was afgespoeld ipv afgewassen. Douche heeft een ietwat lage waterdruk om lang haar goed uit te spoelen, maar wel een royale boiler met lekker warm water. Raamverduistering voor de grote slaapkamer zal wel handig zijn, aangezien het niet echt donker word!! Verder was het een mooi en knus huisje om een week te verblijven. De dichtsbijzijnde winkels zijn zo'n 25 km verderop, inkopen voordat je naar het huisje rijd is wel aan te raden!! Lekker veel natuur en wild rond het huisje, een kudde rendieren, eland en 2 vossen liepen geregeld voorbij. Binnen 1.5 rijden rijden ben je in 3 nationaal parken, (FulufjÀllet, SÄnfjÀllet en Töfsingdalen), en alle 3 zijn ze zeer de moeite waard. Elanden of rendieren zie je daar geheid, van de lynx, wolf en beer hebben we wel de sporen gezien, maar niet de dieren zelf! Maar ook zijn er diverse natuurreservaten in de omgeving, of je gaat zelf op avontuur in de omgeving.

GemĂŒtliches Haus in wunderbarer Natur

Wir hatten einen tollen Winterurlaub ohne Stress und Menschenmassen. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Vor allem die Holzofen Sauna mit Blick in die Natur lÀdt zum entspannen ein. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Maria, unsere Vermieterin, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der NÀchste Urlaub und diesem Haus ist schon in Planung.

I had again fantastic days in this beautiful place. The house has a great atmosphere which makes you feel at home. It is very well equipped. It also has a very nice sauna.
