A very convenient and comfortable base for our six-day exploration of the Périgord Noir region. Free parking. An easy walk into Sarlat old town. Breakfast was generous, sometimes we skipped lunch later. Quite a few restaurants and cafes nearby. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, if that is important to you. Staff are glad to fill ice / water thermos. Our room window looked out on greenery growing on the neighbors' roof. Stepping up into the bathroom took getting used to. Suggest some kind of night light in there. Would stay there again.

Great hotel, great staff and plentiful parking

This was not our 1st time here, Hotel location for access to town centre is perfect, car parking is plentiful and its worth using the underground parking if you want to keep your vehicle cool, staff are brilliant always.

We arrived late and the concierge was a really kind and helpful despite her limited English. Although the hotel is about 10 min walk to the medieval downtown I felt was great away from the noise and easy access to main road to continue our journey.

I enjoyed my one week stay at Ibis Sarlat. It's a very good location, spacious room, very clean, comfortable bed and very friendly staffs especially Noémie. She was warm and welcoming when I arrived. She was also very helpful and patient with all my questions as I needed lots of help in finding tours and transportations. I really appreciated Noémie and everyone for making me feel welcomed .

Excellent comfortable hotel to explore sarlat!

Excellent little hotel close to the center of Sarlat. Very comfortable and clean, especially for the price. The lady at check in was very kind and helped me with a kettle to make some tea in the room. We arrived late (1:30am) but we were happy they waited up for us especially after all the flight cancellations. Upon checkout everyone was friendly. Would stay there again!

One of the Best Ibis hotels in our opinion

One of the best Ibis hotels we’ve stayed in and we use this chain a lot traveling through France with our dog. It was exceptionally clean and even had complimentary drinking water in room. The underground secure car park was great with direct access into the hotel reception. Only a short 10 minute walk into the beautiful centre of Sarlat where there are many options to eat and drink. Will definitely use again
