    Rodrigo and his wife are Greta hosts. They made and whole price from check in to check out simple and easy. Villa is in a great location and as per the description.

    The good: -Villa is clean inside-Excellent location for short drive to beaches-Incredible sea view-3 bedrooms attached to house all with working A/C, 2 bedrooms not attached to house, one with A/C, both with Mosquito nets-Quirky layout suitable to older teen/adult group,-OK for a short stayWhile the owner is nice enough helping with fuse board issues and providing cigarette lighter for the gas hob, it's debatable if this villa is suitable as a professional rental. -The TV screen is damaged needs replacing. Did ask on day 1, was acknowledged but not resolved-The gas hob is difficult to use — it needs a proper lighter (rather than a cigarette lighter)-The oven knob labels, it is a bit of a guessing game.-No washing machine on-site.In the downstairs bathroom:-The shower head is very loose/broken-The toilet seat very is looseAround the pool and outdoor area:-The pool paint had not set, the blue was getting on clothing.-The grounds really need a proper tidy — removing broken items, litter, addressing cracked paving, holes and repairs to woodwork-The outdoor wooden tables are old & unstable.-The outdoor seat cushions are tired and worn.-Water pump fuse tripped every other day, easy to manually flip back on.-Advertised fire extinguisher is rusted and guage showing as emptyDespite this, we did enjoy the location, using the pool and the views. By day 4 we decided to laugh off all the issues & focus on beach time. Needs money spending on it.

    The address on VRBO is completely wrong taking to an address some 5 minutes away on a different road. Even at correct address the name in big letters on the outside wall is not Villa La Calma but Casa Laguna! Symbolic of the fact that this Villa is not quite ready for letting out. The bathroom door has dropped a bit and so scrapes across the floor. So no chance of going to use the bathroom at 3am without waking the household. We struggled getting the gas hob to light. I worked out where the cylinder must be - climb into bath, open bathroom window, climb out into 2sq m yard, open shed door on right -urgh cobwebs and junk but gas cylinder there - it’s empty! Phone to Villa owner and credit to him, he appears 40 mins later with a new cylinder, climbs into bath, through bathroom window and connects it. We had been lent a very luxurious villa for 7 days, that came with chef and 2 staff and so we had been truly spoilt and we were lucky to find this villa for the 2 extra days we needed. Positives were the owner allowed us a short stay with early access and a late departure. It’s also a good location with great views. We spent the two days on the beach rather than at the villa. The villa needs more investment to reach its potential.

    Lovely older villa with stunning views. Could use a little modernisation the host was extremely cooperative and helpful. Short drive to the beach but it has own pool and great lounging areas. Lots of privacy.

    Our stay in the villa was totally fantastic! The house is wonderfull, rooms are big and there were everything we need for a wonderfull stay. The view from the place was awsome. The villa is located is located in a very quite place, You need to use a car to join touristic but is ok. The communication with the owner was also very good, so everything was perfect!!places but
