Good hotel, Maybe better in summer (since there is no central heater, but we had a lot of heating possibilities). Nice location, near to every imporatnt building in Urfa. We had to wait for the hotel owner to come, but he was nice and appologiesed so ok!

Not so much...

Upon arrival, I was met, (after banging on the door to be let in) by a grumpy old man who had no idea what I was doing there, and who did not want to deal with this stranger who had apparently arrived just to bother him.. Furthermore, they didn't have the room that I had booked. In the end, we managed to get two rooms, (thanks to a phone call to the owner). While my room was comfortable enough, the mildly unpleasant odor emanating from the bathroom did not exactly make me feel warm and cosy.I can imagine that under more welcoming circumstances that this could be a rather charming hotel. The location is convenient, the courtyard is nice and the rooftop terrace has a lot of potential.

Great local hotel

Perfect location to see the highlights. This hotel gives you the chance to experience turkish life. Would definitely stay again. Too bad breakfast is not an option. Staff very helpful and so nice. Sanliurfa is a completely safe area despite what the media says. We were americans and felt welcome and safe.

I really enjoyed my stay!

Best part about the hotel was the staff and owner. The owner is also a historical tour guide and provided the most fantastic personal tour. It greatly enriched the experience and immersion into the local culture and extraordinary ancient history of Urfa and Harran. I highly recommend this hotel and absolutely recommend the owner's tour guide services. You will have the most fantastic experience and want to return again ...

No one was at the hotel when we arrived. We called the number on the door. He was at dinner and would be back in 'an hour'...so we had to waste two hours. When he did arrive, rooms were not ready and no breakfast is included. Just very poor experience.

Cute small hotel

Cute little hotel with a nice little courtyard and roof terrace, photos are accurate. Room was clean and cool. About a 10 minute walk to the main sights. Had a minor issue getting in, if Google Maps says the otogar is near it is not! My dolmus got really close to the hotel then swung round the roundabout and went back up to the main bus station about 4km away. Probably not an issue if you speak Turkish... When I got in the staff didn't speak any English but he got the boss on the phone, and the next day the boss came by and kindly drove me to the otogar.

Otel çok güzeldi biz çok beğendik konumu biraz ara sokağa doğru ancak insanlar çok iyi kimse bizi rahatsız etmedi. Gece geç saatlere kadar da merkezde takılıp akşam otele rahatlıkla döndük yine Urfa’ya geleceğim ve yine bu oteli tercih edeceğim

Serçe Konak değil Serçe Evi bile değil.

Şehrin çöküntü alanında çok kötü restore edilmiş bir taş ev. Hiç bir zaman konak olmamış ama restorasyon sonrası beton, taş ve briket kırması bir fecaat olmuş. Taş bir oda içine pimapenden banyo-tuvalet yapıp havalandırma düşünmeyen zeka dışkı kokusu içinde bir gece ile tuvalet tutma arası tercihe zorluyor insanı.
