They lost electricity on both days I was there. My electrical outlets needed to be changed, my ac did not work upon arrival until the evening, my jacuzzi jets had to be fixed. I basically had someone repairing items in my room the first day. No phones in the room and the message service is HARD to get a hold off. Someone came to abruptly bang hard on my door at 5am and 3am and I couldn’t sleep bc of fear of someone trying to break in through my sliding terrace door which also had a broken lock, I had no one to call and they didn’t respond to my message until 830am the next day. Eduardo from the restaurant and Elizabeth from the spa were the only 2 positives from my stay. The food was nice but other than Eduardo it took an hour just to get a hold of the restaurant staff. In the pictures it shows access to the beach but there is none at all, you cant even see sand at ANY time of the day. The natural pool in the pictures, is dry and broken. I would not recommend this place at all.

For the price of $200+ per day, the room was small, dark and had no view to the ocean. The features of the place being advertised are not available and /or simply do not exist. 1. No private beach as advertised (in fact, no access to the beach at all) When I inquired about it, the receptionists replied that the nearest walking beach was about 15 minutes away. 2. Salt water pools were not available . The staff indicated that the pools had not been repaired in months. 3. There was not a coffee maker in the room as advertised 4. WiFi was spotty 5. Breakfast was not included and food was pricey. Overall, the Farallones Hotel is overpriced based on the limited amenities available to the guest. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone, particularly to my family and friends who are will be visiting El Salvador in the coming months. I

Ok place wouldn’t recommend

The Staff was amazing but not enough people working. Took an hr to order drinks, and no plates get picked up Pool side till the end of the night. We’re not the type of couple to complain but our bedroom door moved back and forth with every wave which made it impossible to get any rest at night.

The rooms were very spacious for a double bed room , very clean and smelled good! They accommodated us to a different room after we reported a faulty light and a leak in the bathroom . They were very prompt with repairs The staff was a bit short staffed at the restaurant later in the day so for dinner we just did room service . The rooms service was outstanding very quick and the food was delicious . We ordered a mar y Tierra (beef and shrimp ) at around 9:30 pm and they made it happen promptly ! Thr best form of communication was through the QR code to their Whats app . The views here are amazing! You won’t regret the quiet and cozy location .

The hotel is really clean and rhe staff was great and friendly. I did not like that we upgraded to ocean view with a hot tub. The hot tub did not work . There is also no access to the beach . I feel like i overpaid for this hotel.

Hotel Farallones was fantastic. It was about a 4 minute car ride from El Tunco. The location is stunning and the service was great. It also felt very safe with 24 hour security at the gate. We rented a car, so it was nice to come and go when we pleased.

This was my third time visiting this hotel. The overall set up and maintenance of the property is good. The staff at the front has always been friendly. The staff working the bar/ restaurant could be better. I stayed two nights and the bartender the first night was amazing! He came by the pool, asked us if we wanted drinks. He would stop by often to see if needed additional drinks or other services. The second night was not that good, we spend over an hour by the second pool and not once did anyone come by asking us if wanted to order drinks or food. This could all be due to staffing levels, however attention details makes people want to comeback. There is no clear signs that I could see pointing us in the direction of where the gym was located.

Great customer service, beautiful view from the hotel, its on a cliff, you can see how the waves hit on the rocks...unfortunately there's no beach at this time to swim at front of the hotel due to the high waves the ocean have been form since February and also the salt water swimming pool is closed and this is the same with all the hotels the are located on the cliffs, but they have 3 nice swimming pools in the resort. I stayed in a room with jacuzzi but is with cold water...breakfast buffet is not included and cost $14.95 per person, which I didn't included.
