Super cute basement apartment!

When we arrived parking was available on the street right outside. The lockbox was easy to find and we got right in. There are 2 bedrooms with doors that close - one has a queen bed, the other a twin with a trundle. The space in the second bedroom wasn’t really enough to fit the trundle, but we moved it to the living room and that worked out fine.The kitchen could have a few more utensils, lacking tongs or a spatula, plenty of knives and coffee cups! Very cute old fashioned stove - instructions for use may need to be found on the internet. Brand new single cup coffee maker!There is a step up in the hallway to reach the bathroom it is NOT wheelchair friendly (luckily we didn’t have one). The light switches are in odd places - bathroom light switch is outside the room! The plumbing is old, the shower dripped the whole time we were there.There is also a large step down as you enter the apartment, the threshold is raised a bit outside as well.Great location, we walked to downtown San Rafael in less than 20 minutes. Don’t stay out too late or you may have to park your car 2 blocks away. No dedicated parking space. Just street parking.This VRBO met our needs and is in a great location. It is a basement apartment and there are upstairs neighbors - they were only up late one of the 2 nights of our stay.

Great Stay-Cozy Home

I love, love, loved the decor specifically in the kitchen and bathroom. Very homey and nice stay. It’s within walking distance of a pretty park as well as restaurants and things to do. I loved it! It was perfect.

Michael was helpful from as soon as we arrived. The unit was very clean and had a private patio space for us to spend time outside. We enjoyed the the rustic but renewed vibe of the space. The old stove was a big hit with the family. His family was also very accommodating with our dog and high energy son.

Charming Two-Bedroom in Convenient Location

A friend and I needed a place to stay that was convenient and affordable. We wanted to visit Muir Woods and also drive out to Pt. Reyes, and maybe do a little shopping. This unit was perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom and some privacy, but we also had a comfortable place to hang out and talk and catch up. The place is a little challenging to find after dark--the doorway is behind a fence--but we were able to figure out the entrance thanks to the picture and directions provided. The unit is the ground floor of a house, so there was some noise from the residents above, but nothing too serious or that kept us awake. Altogether a fun and charming place to call home for a couple of days--we both agreed that we would stay here again.

Little gem 15 minutes away from SF

We really loved our stay at Michael's place. The house was very clean. The kitchen was stocked with all you might need, including food, in case you forgot something. All the beds were very comfortable. We had several pillows to choose from to ensure we got the one we liked most. The bathroom was fully stocked with towels and shower essentials. I even noticed there was a pack of diapers and baby wipes in case someone forgot those. Michael was very attentive and answered my gazillion ;) questions. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

Cozy location with great accommodations. The location was easy to adjust to and get on with business. TVs already logged on with multiples Apps. Washer and dryers in the back and patio area. Cute decor.
