The property is beautiful, right on the water with everything you need for snorkeling and diving. It's a really walkable area if you want to walk off property for dinner. The office staff help with everything from special adventures, plane rides and golf cart rentals. The little spa is also a plus.

We live our stay at Ramon’s village.. it’s very convenient going to town.. they have their own golf cart rentals.. restaurant is great and inside the resort.. also their pool is nice.. a lot of activities

This was the best resort on the island. We had the honeymoon cabana for two nights followed by the beach front cabana the third night. Accommodations reminded me of the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. Lush, jungle, and tikis but with an added beach front. They maintain the beach by cleaning up the kelp that washes in daily. The restaurant, Pineapples, was great for each meal and wonderful at night with live music and moonlight. Tarpons and rays swim off the pier and the tours are amazing. Dennis was our personal guide for three different tours: manatees and sea horses, sunset sail, and snorkeling at sting ray alley and Mexico Rocks. I recommend all three. We had the most amazing time and I can't recommend this resort more. They even have golf carts you can rent by the hour to drive 40 minutes to Secret Beach and go to the Swing Bar. 10 stars!!

The staff here were incredibly nice and, when we checked in, I was very much looking forward to the stay. We had stayed on the northern side of the island, and this would give us the opportunity to stay right in San Pedro town. (Location is very convenient!). The resort looked cute - although a bit touristy. We had a second story King room, with a balcony overlooking the pool. It smelled a bit musty when we walked in, but we quickly left to explore the town. Upon returning that evening, there were multiple dead bugs on our bed and we noticed that the throw at the bottom of the bed had stains. While we understand it is within nature (i.e., the bugs), other cleanliness factors were not up to par. The bed sheets smelled heavily of bleach and vinegar. Great that they were cleaned, but there could be some investment in higher-quality cleaning products. My husband - who is not high maintenance at all - said he barely slept because it just felt the bed was dirty. In summary, this is definitely not a 4 star hotel. If you generally stay at holiday inn express / etc. types of properties, then this will probably be completely fine. If your are accustomed to higher-quality, you may wish to reconsider. I am generously giving it three stars just because the staff were so very nice and the outside property was quite cute.

Ramon’s was situated right in the middle of town, but inside the gates it felt like a tropical jungle and private beach. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean. We loved it!

Beautiful secluded jungle-like property in San Pedro town with a very pretty pool. Ramon’s has its own fleet of boats right in front of the property that we used for a fishing tour (caught lots of snapper that they cleaned and fileted for us that we immediately had cooked in 3 delicious ways), and a snorkeling tour that was super fun. Diving was also available. We were able to rent golf carts on the property as well. The food was yummy at Coconuts restaurant and Tropical Als mixes up some great smoothies. The staff was very accommodating. Loved this place.

The property is right off the main road of the city but goes from the city look to instant jungle paradise feel. Right on the beach. The staff was amazing from check in to check out. The entire city is walkable by street or beach and if you want to venture further you can rent a golf cart and drive. Tons of adventures to be had or just be lazy in the hammock on the beach. Absolutely will be a return destination!!!

I liked the view from my balcony but since i am disabled it was very difficult getting up and down the stairs. Also the wind was very stron and every night the stuff the roof was made of ended up all over in the night and all over the floor, i told someone about it and ask to be moved to another room that did not have this type of roof but nothing was done about it very disappointing

Beautiful retreat like setting with a jungle feel right on the water. The atmosphere was perfect for a calm and relaxing getaway while taking in the Beaty of the beachfront property. So much activity right at your fingertips, whether you wanted to scuba dive, snorkel, relax on the beach or take a walk downtown to immerse yourself into San Pedro.

The staff are very friendly and most have been there for dozen years or more. Our booking had a mix up and they were quick to resolve it for us. Near the airport so you will hear the planes but you get used to it. The facilities and good food overrule any inconvenience with noise.
