The apartment building is right on the beach. To see the beach from this apartment, you have to look out the windows. The apartment was clean and pleasant. It had two air conditioners, but there was a power outage the first night and no transformers were available. The surrounding area is quiet, but there are also many restaurants, bakeries, etc. Because the building is right on the beach, finding parking during the day can be a nightmare. If you don't have a car, you won't have a problem. The beach is right there, there are restaurants, you can take an Uber to Old San Juan, etc.

My sister and I had a lovely time at this vrbo. It was clean, the air condition worked well, and all the appliances worked well! The only problems we had were that the check in instructions were not sent ahead of time and so we arrived at the vrbo without instructions and were very confused. However, when we reached out, the owner answered our phone call and helped us immediately. One other issue was that the “beach front” access was not really beach, it was rocky. But the walk to Isla Verde or Playa Alambique was about two minutes so it was not really a problem! There were also several places around that you could walk to for coffee, breakfast, dinner, ice cream, etc. The overall area felt safe and clean! Overall, I would absolutely recommend this vrbo and stay there again!

Great, walkable location

Clean, comfortable apartment that met our needs. The entrance to the beach off the back of the property is inaccessible. Maybe hurricane damage? But it was an easy two or three minute walk down the street to a nice beach, which we visited every day. Frances was available to answer questions anytime we needed something. We would return to this property.

Escape the cold

My husband I visited for a few days in Jan to escape the bitter winter WI cold. Location was good, safe area to walk. You can not reach the beach from the back gated area, but it is a short walk. Parking is horrible (just in general in PR), I would not recommend renting a vehicle because I don’t know where you would park it. We did do a one day rental from Beep Beep jeep and that was great!Condo had beach chairs and beach towels which was a plus. Downside for me was only 2 washcloths, 1 hand towel and 4 bath towels provided for 5 days. I would have appreciated a couple more washcloths for sure. And no Kleenex in the condo. I bought a box and kept there. Condo was clean and a/c worked great when needed. Overall good stay.

Great but no beach access

Was overall great, close to everything… the back gate has a 4ft drop off into rock no beach looks like it has been under construction for awhile so about 5min walk to beach but still close. Safe neighborhood, nice people.
