This is a nice property. The thermal springs are enjoyable. The rooms are dated and need fresh pant. The beds are not as luxurious as shown in the pictures. Bathrooms and shower were nice by Italian standards. Robes and slippers provided are clean. The steam room was really offputting, it smelled unsanitary, as did the salt cave. The gym is completely out of date and not appropriate for this type of property for the price they are charging. Food is overpriced - an aperol spritz was €22 compared to 6 to €10 everywhere else in Rome and Tuscany. The dinner restaurant is overpriced and does not have options for a family. The breakfast buffet is really nice and was included in our fee. The lunch service is also very nice but €39 per person. Overall: does not feel modern, has not been maintained very well and is definitely not worth an entire trip to visit. If it’s convenient while driving through Tuscany, it may be worth a stop over if you have the time and money. Important to note that there is nothing to do in the surrounding area and you will need a car. It would be wise to book dinner at an agriturismo in the area so that you aren’t stuck at their restaurant for the evening since the nearby village is completely shut down in the evening. We would not go back.

It was just ok!

I have slightly mixed feelings about the hotel. Fabulous Tuscan location, but beware it’s quite remote( which is not a negative just an observation). Spa facilities are fantastic with natural (and really hot) thermal water but the hotel itself could have been better. This hotel belongs to the ‘Leading Hotels of the World’ group (or is a member of) but neither rooms nor restaurant were really up to standard. The bathroom / bedroom were dated and for sure needed updating and bedding was not good enough. Restaurant staff were great but food lacked attention to detail and real quality. Two examples: on one of the evenings we selected beetroot dish with Greek Yoghurt and some Greens- they left off the Greek yogurt but said nothing and also on one of the evenings served wine with a very noticeable chip in one of the glasses. Enjoyed the stay- would I go back again, probably not!

Exceptional service , amazing Tuscany view , the facilities are in excellent condition, we booked a massage and it was very good , this place is very good for adults or couples who would like to have relaxation for 1-2 days.

The property has a great view, overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany, but it is so secluded that you cannot leave the property to do anything else without a car. There is no close by bus or train station that can take you to nearby sites or activities. We also found the elevators to be a little dirty, possibly because the hotel is pet friendly? It's a nice place to stay if you want to just stay at the hotel and take advantage of their thermal pools and spa, but if you want to explore Tuscany, this hotel is pretty secluded from many areas/attactions.
