"Enjoyed our stay at Residence Inn San Carlos. Our flight was significantly delayed and even though we were checking in far after midnight, Delise greeted us with a friendly smile and made us feel right at home with her warm personality and great sense of humor. She knew were were probably tired after a long day of travel and got us checked in quickly but still gave us the highlights of breakfast the next morning and some fun amenities that interest us. Highlights: 1. The hot breakfast is delicious and lots of great places to sit, eat and work like I had to the morning of my stay. The waffles were crisp on the outside, soft on the inside,no wonder they kept disappearing, but the staff was on top of it and quickly refilled any items running low. 2. Our room had a fridge with icemaker so by the time we woke up the next morning, we had ice for our water bottles. No more having to walk down the hallway with a bucket for ice. 3. Smart room design/layout with comfortable beds, separate living room area, good sized kitchen and table for meals. 4. Delise's hospitality Cons: 1. The icemaker can be noisy so if you are a light sleeper, consider turning off at night. 2. AC is also pretty loud, but cools the room quickly so we were able to turn it down once it was at a comfortable temperature. 3. The walls are a little thin and one night we could hear our neighbors laughing. There are plenty of signs for Quiet Hours starting at 10pm but some of our neighbors clearly didn't see or care."
