The interior of the unit was attractive and clean. It was a very cute and enjoyable unit for our two nights. The tub and tub wall has started peeling, and needs a new coating, I found that awkward. The old building itself needs some TLC, the entry felt old/dingy/awkward. The hobos and rough-looking folks hanging out at the lower floor liquor store did not make for a comfortable feeling while coming and going, walking to the Riverwalk or parking. Not all of these things are under the unit-owner's control, but a nice place in a less than stellar building with a few safety concerns and no close-in safe parking options drop it from 5* to 4* for me.

This apartment is perfectly located to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, and many other attractions. It is charmingly decorated and very clean. The view of the court house is extraordinary - we saw six couples get married outside of the court house during our stay. The host was extremely attentive to our needs and very easy to work with.We did not rent a car and didn’t feel we needed to. Everything you want to see or do is within walking distance.We would definitely stay here again.
