Spend sunny days lounging beside your private swimming pool, unwind in the 6-person hot tub, or relax on the home’s expansive multi-level decks while taking in beautiful Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound views. With decks on all three levels, you can start your morning with an OBX sunrise and finish the day watching a spectacular sunset.

When you’re ready to head to the ocean, beach access is approximately 100 feet away, making it easy to enjoy swimming, shell hunting, fishing, or long walks along the uncrowded beaches of Cape Hatteras National Seashore.

Our stay in this house was pleasant. Mornings were enjoyable while having coffee on one of the decks, accompanied by the sound of ocean waves. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary items for family meals. The house offered ample space for privacy, and it was kept clean. We found the pool and hot tub enjoyable, and the neighborhood was quiet.

The house is roomy, with good amenities and an awesome elevator for luggage/folks who struggle with stairs. Quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the ocean. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Great accommodation

This was the perfect setting for a family gathering. Everyone had their own room and bathroom and the seniors were able to use the entire house thanks to the elevator. The house is as nice as the pictures show - quality furnishings and an extremely well equipped kitchen - overall great stay.

Gorgeous views, bright and clean house!

We had a really nice stay. The house was in a great spot you can see the ocean and the sound from the family room and kitchen area. It is very bright and cheerful as it should be when you stay at the beach! There were 12 of us and slept us all perfectly. The 7 bathrooms were a huge hit with us, we never have enough usually when we rent other places. Salvo is beautiful, beaches amazing and town is quiet. The owner responded immediately to any questions and was super helpful. The pool area was clean and free of bugs. I would Rent again. Here are some pictures of the views and the proximity to the beach which was a short walk!

Our group consisted of 5 moms and we all concurred on how fabulous the house was.We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The beach access was very close to the house. Everything was very clean and well kept. The only thing that was needed was some nice rocking chairs for the upper deck to enjoy the ocean view!! We would definitely go back and highly recommend anyone else to stay there. We had a great vacation. Thank you Dan.

The house was very clean and in good repair.The kitchen was well stocked with all of the extra things that you would need to cook any kind of meals. There was a big storm that came through and delayed our checkout process. NC 12 was closed. The host was very understanding and allowed us to check out way after checkout time. We were very grateful for his kindness.He was also very quick to answer. Any message that we sent before our check-in during our check-in and after checkout.Overall, a great experience at OBX. We would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. This house and area was wonderful and our group of 8 enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and the pool and hot tub were great! We loved the short walk to the beach which was not crowded at all. The elevator was so helpful for our elderly family member and getting all of our stuff inside. Dan was awesome to work with and he worked quickly to resolve any issues. The view from top floor was great to enjoy while having our coffee and meals. This was our first trip to Outer Banks and we loved it. Lokking forward to returning soon! You won't be disappointed with this home.

Adult Children Reunion/Vacation

This is a VERY nice house with all amenities provided. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of space for each family to have some privacy. Walk to the beach is a little farther than we thought, but not bad. House needs a little TLC in places from wear and tear. Our only real issue is the air filters were completely clogged up causing some issues with some family members with Asthma. Made the owner aware and he was great to work with. Filters in the house and we changed them. Said they were supposed to be changed monthly by maintenance. Go ahead and book a stay here. You won't be sorry!

Great week away with family

Our stay was great…. One inconvenience was that we booked this place for a few reasons, it suited our families needs and it had an elevator for a family member who is handicapped. Prior to arriving (4 days) we received a notice that the elevator was broken and that we would be refunded $200. A nice gesture but honestly, it’s not about the money, we really needed the elevator. Four days prior to our arrival was not the time for our family to look for a new location to suit us. The volleyball court at the home was not maintained, partial sand, mostly weeds and painful to the feet when playing. The pool was great but the area around the pool lacked loungers for a house that holds 14 guests. All in all, it was a great week with family. Kitchen was amazing with everything that we needed and more. Would consider staying in Salvo again.

Four Generation Reunion was a Success!

We recently completed a four-generation family reunion at Shore's Heaven. The home accommodated the large party we had, with a few young people sleeping on floors. The elevator made it possible for the mobility-challenged patriarch to attend! (It was also helpful in hauling luggage and food up to the top floors). I didn't think we would use the pool since we are a beach-loving bunch, but it was a welcome option on the two days when the beach was a bit too windy. The younger kids enjoyed the pool while waiting their turn in the shower. A short walk to the beach, but the sand can be a challenge. The beach truck in the closet was a huge help! The owner was quite attentive and responded in less than an hour to all pre-vacation email questions. FYI: the child-proof pool gate is indeed child proof. My seven-year-old niece could not access it without help. Would definitely recommend.
