Emerald Hideaway is a very well appointed, clean and modern apartment. The entrance hall is a little dated and the stairs are not for the faint hearted when carrying luggage! One you're in the apartment the space is extremely clean and comfortable. The added touches of the five ring hob and the Nespresso machine were unexpected luxuries. (We could have done with more pods for the coffee machine - we scoured the local shops, but couldn't find any to fit!) The proximity to the front and the beach is a real bonus and we enjoyed early morning walks on the all but deserted sands. The mattress on the bed was too soft for us, but this is just down to personal preference and the bed was comfortable enough and we slept well. The thermostat was easy to use and the heating was very effective - much needed after a windswept walk in October! We would definitely book again.
