It was definitely a change in scenery. Loved the aesthetic. It was clean and the staff were AMAZING. Our biggest concern was feeling cold during the night, but it ended up being warm, so definitely not complaining. Lastly, we weren’t sure how the restroom and shower facilities were going to work as they were outside, but it was SUPER clean and private.

It was so unique and the energy there is incredible. Cleanest room ever, comfy bed, amazing hot tub and the coffee is to die for. Also the service desk people were incredible. Thanks for a great time. We will for sure be back

Everything was wonderful. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Quiet surroundings. Great information when you get in to your room on what’s nearby. How to regulate the heat. Cooling. Hot tub water was warm and hot tub was clean. Need a Keurig in the room for coffee. That’d be the only thing I’d suggest.

Nice 50’s vibe, especially with the row of Airstreams. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, thank you April. I liked the platform style bed because it was comfortable and staff can easily vacuum under them. Kudos to the tile setter. FYI on the go breakfast is a choice of B’fast bars and fresh hot coffee.

Wonderfully spotless! Amenities are perfect - well coffee maker would be amazing as we awake about 5:30(!) but understand the constraints - I had to come up with something, right? Staff always wonderful, cheery, and helpful. The lodge amenities and ambience are BEYOND amazing - love, love, love the (realistic) retro vibe. Love the thoughtful, landscaping. Thank you for being you!

Really nice upgrade of a classic motel along the Rainbow Highway in Salida. The room was super comfortable with really nice touches. The bathroom was super clean with a nice tub and good water pressure. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows are terrible and need to be replaced (not to mention that they are too small for a king bed). Also, the A/C is far too small for the room, and the room was very warm, so if you need a cool room to sleep, I recommend opening the window, even in the winter. I do wish that they had the top-down, bottom-up shades so you can have privacy with an open window, but I do like the shades they have as they let in a nice, diffuse light. The common area for playing games and just chilling is wonderful, and is great for groups staying in different rooms. The service was awesome and the staff super friendly.

This hotel stay was a last minute unplanned stopped in between destinations. It turned out to be one of the cutest hotels we have ever been to. The staff were all super friendly, and helpful. The room was immaculate, comfortable and private. Everything about it. I love this place. Salida was an unknown place, now I want to go back!
