This cozy cabin is located in a beautiful, secluded property a few miles west of the bustling town of Salida. It’s close to skiiing, fishing, rafting, kayaking, and hiking. There is no TV in the cabin, and the WiFi was intermittent, but the sound of the creek provided a soothing and tranquil backdrop for relaxing and disconnecting for a while. The cabin is charmingly rustic, and was clean and well-maintained. The beds are very comfortable, and the towels and linens are a quality upgrade. The cabin is reasonably well-stocked with all the kitchen necessities, including an oversized refrigerator/freezer, and the tap water is cold, pure and tastes great. The property provides recreational activities, outdoor grills and a fire pit (subject to fire restrictions) and easy access to thousands of acres of National Forest for exploring. We discovered a minor issue with insufficient bedding for the pullout couch well after-hours, When I called Pinion Property Management, I was expecting voicemail, but instead reached their after-hours service staff. We got our problem resolved right away. And the next morning, Pinion sent a Field Service person to follow-up and make sure we had everything we needed. This level of service was an unexpected bonus that really added to our comfort and enjoyment of the cabin experience. It made our trip a great success, and we wished we had a few more days!
