Beautiful house in little itialian village near the lake

Everything was perfect. The house with the patio was a quiet place to be. The owners made our stay so pleasant with a boattrip and the possibility to use the bikes. Giuseppe told us a lot about the history and is a perfect host. We would love to come back.

Charming, quirky property in delightful area

The property is absolutely lovely - typical of the area it is in part open with the living area and kitchen under cover but open to the elements. Hosts are absolutely charming, helpful, and generous. The area is beautiful - Lake Iseo is stunning, and the central island (Mont'Isola) equally beautiful and very easy to access. Swimming in the lake is lovely and there are plenty of easy ways to access it. There is a great, small supermarket and bakery up the road, a market on Wednesdays, a farmers' market on Saturdays, great olive oil from nearby Marone, and you are right by two great wine regions - Franciacorta and Valcolepia. If you want to spend time out and about enjoying the gorgeous countryside and towns, then this is an excellent place to stay.

Hidden treasure

Just off the main road through Sale Marasino is an old characteristic Italian family house where we stayed for a week. The house is spacious and has a nice cool patio, where you can sit, talk and drink a glass vino after a day under the Italian sun. Also the rooms remain cool. But the best part of the house, was our host Guisepppe. Next year we intend to stay longer and see more of the Iseo lake.

Outdoor experience

We had a great time visiting Iake Iseo and Giuseppe was a grand host. He lives on site and will take care of any need you have. The house was an experience of living outside and we had a fire almost every night in the outdoor kitchen. Sleeping quarters are inside but most of the living is in a courtyard. Close to the lake and the island was a fun adventure

Stay with Giuseppe and his wife

Giuseppe was very welcoming and attentive, he gave us very good advice (restaurants, places to visit, tips for parking and what to do to avoid parking fines...) the house is pleasant, the apartment and the kitchen are well equipped the house and the surroundings were quiet, there is a mini market nearby and a bakery opposite (closed from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.). To go to Monte Isola it is easy to take the boat in front of the church and it is possible to go around Monte Isola by bus. I really recommend this place.

De foto’s en de praktijk komen niet overeen. Zo staan er foto’s van hun privé keuken op website die niet beschikbaar is voor gasten. Daarnaast dien je rekening te houden dat vanuit slaap- en woonkamer boven je door gemeenschappelijke ruimte van de eigenaar dient te lopen om bij je badkamer en toilet te komen. De buitenruimte is gezamenlijke die deelt met de eigenaar.

Fantastische locatie met persoonlijke touch

Wij waren met 2 volwassenen en 2 volwassen kinderen. Deze locatie was sfeervol, ruim en lag perfect om de hele omgeving te kunnen bezoeken zonder gebruik te hoeven maken van de auto. Haventje lag op 3, bakker&winkel op 2 en het treinstation op 10 minuten lopen. Directe verbindingen met Monte Isola, de dorpjes rondom het meer en Brescia. Maar het huis zelf was ook een belevenis op zich. We hadden beneden een hele mooie patio, een overdekte buitenkeuken waar we elke avond spelletjes hebben gespeeld, een slaapkamer en badkamer en nog een woonkamer. Boven was ook een slaapkamer met eigen woonkamer en badkamer. De woonkamers hebben we niet gebruikt, maar het geheel geeft wel een goed gevoel qua ruimte. Het is een heel oud en sfeervol huis, dus verwacht geen 5 sterren luxe, maar tegen de sfeer, ruimte, locatie en koele ruimtes (dikke muren, beschaduwde patio) kan weinig tegenop. Misschien is wel het meest bijzondere de persoonlijke en hartelijke eigenaar Giuseppe. Hij en zijn vrouw wonen ook in hetzelfde huis, maar in een ander deel. Giuseppe ontving ons met bubbels en hapjes en hij kwam elke dag een praatje maken; veel tips over de omgeving en restaurants. Wij vonden het ook heel bijzonder dat hij ons een halve dag mee uit varen nam op zijn tiptop boot met zonnedekje. Je komt dan op plekken waar je normaal niet komt. Heel erg bijzonder. Als je houdt van modern en strak en graag volledig op jezelf bent is dit misschien niet een geschikte locatie, maar voor ons was dit echt perfect.

Wir haben den leider viel zu kurzen Aufenthalt in Sale Marasino sehr genossen.Giuseppe und Laura sind sehr aufmerksame und herzliche Gastgeber, die uns jederzeit als Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung standen. Auch im Ort (der von Touristen nicht überlaufen ist) fühlten wir uns von den Einheimischen herzlichen aufgenommen und durften das Lebensgefühl Italiens erleben.Es war ein super schönes Erlebnis. Maison toute proche du lac

Ce sont deux suites des deux côtés d’un patio, l’une au premier étage, l’autre au rez-de-chaussée, chacune avec sa salle de bain ; elles sont des deux côtés du patio (en effet très frais), où se trouve aussi la cuisine (extérieure, mais abritée, et très agréable également). Les propriétaires habitent le reste de la maison mais ils sont très discrets, l’essentiel de la communication se fait par whatsapp. La maison est très bien située, juste en face de l’embarcadère vers l’île et très proche du petit supermarché. Le lac d’Iseo est moins connu que les autres et moins fréquenté ; il a énormément de charme, on peut s’y baigner sans souci. Il y a également plusieurs restaurants avec terrasses sur le lac dont un de très bon standing un peu plus loin (à vello). On peut se garer dans la ville (5 euros par jour) ou utiliser le parking, plus lointain mais sécurisé, proposé par Giuseppe. Je conseillerais de se promener en vélo : tout est conçu pour cela et cela permet de visiter les autres villes du lac. Il y a également la possibilité de prendre le train. Au total, un séjour très agréable.

Lac d'Iseo + Antica Dimora...eine Reise wert.

Antica Dimora ist ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, der keine Wünsche offenlässt. Die Sommerküche und den grünen schattigen Raum im Innenhof gibt es als Zugabe. Schöner kann ein Platz nicht sein, um den Abend bei einem Glas Wein ausklingen zu lassen. Die Gastgeber machen die A.D. vollkommen. Mehr Gstfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft geht nicht! Wir haben die Gespräche mit Giuseppe und Laura genossen. Der Abschied nach einer wunderschönen Woche war ein Abschied von Freunden. Baci von Regine, Andrea, Randy und Michael Non vediamo l'ora di rivederci.

Leider enttäuschender Familienurlaub

Bei der Buchung waren wir sicher eine tolle Unterkunft für die ganze Familie zu mieten. Wir waren mit Vater, Mutter und unseren 4 Kindern dort. Die ausschließlich sehr guten Bewertungen können wir uns nicht erklären. Das Objekt entsprach in vielen entscheidenden Eigenschaften nicht der Beschreibung. Vor allem hatten wir aufgrund des Inserats die Erwartung eine separate Ferienwohnung zu mieten. Vor Ort hat sich aber herausgestellt, dass man sich das Haus mit den Vermietern regelrecht teilt. Hätten wir von diesem Umstand gewusst, wäre eine Buchung dieser Unterkunft für uns nicht in Frage gekommen. Die wechselseitige Einhaltung von Privatsphäre war kaum möglich und hat zu unangenehmen Situationen geführt, weswegen wir dann auch vorzeitig abgereist sind. Die Räume sind sehr hellhörig. Für die beiden Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss gab es auch auf Nachfrage keine Schlüssel. Damit sind diese beiden Schlafzimmer als sichere Kinderschlafzimmer nicht brauchbar. Hier eine Liste der Abweichungen: "Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock mit privatem Badezimmer" Tatsächlich: Badezimmer vom Schlafzimmer separat und nur über einen gemeinsamen mit den Vermietern genutzten Flur zu erreichen. Die "große Master-Küche für die Gäste ... mit allem Zubehör" inkl. Essecke auf den Fotos 16 bis 24, behalten sich die Vermieter zur exklusiven Nutzung vor und hat uns nicht zur Verfügung gestanden. Wir durften nur die spärlich ausgestattete "Außenküche" (Bilder 45 und 46) nutzen, die für die Versorgung einer Familie mit 6 Personen unzureichend ist. Der Parkplatz ist ein Öffentlicher auf dem man 1 Stunde parken darf. Das kostenlose WiFi war so schwach, dass nirgends im von Gästen bewohnten Bereich auch nur eines unserer 6 Endgeräte (Apple oder Samsung) eine stabile Verbindung aufbauen konnte. Darauf angesprochen meinte der Vermieter, das müsse an unseren Geräten liegen, er könne keine Abhilfe schaffen. Die Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht in Betrieb nehmen. Mikrowelle, Mixer Wasserkocher waren für Gäste nicht vorhanden. "Das private Motorboot" gehört dem Vermieter und man kann ihn bitten einen gemeinsamen Ausflug zu unternehmen. Der DVD-Player befindet sich in einem privaten Zimmer des Vermieters und nur nach vorheriger Absprache zu benutzen. Die Waschmaschine ist nach Anweisung der Vermieterin höchstens einmal in der Woche zu benutzen, ein Waschsalon sei aber im Ort verfügbar. Rauchmelder, Feuerlöscher, Kohlenmonoxidmelder, Erste-Hilfe-Set und den Safe gab es in den Gästezimmern nicht.

Schöne und ursprüngliche Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft liegt gut gelegen in einem typisch italienischen Ort in dem nur wenige Nicht-Italiener Urlaub machen. Fußläufig sind ein kleiner Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei erreichbar. Auch 2 Bars und Restaurants sind nicht fern. In der Gegend kann man einiges unternehmen und der Lago d'Iseo ist einfach fantastisch. Wir waren zusammen mit Freunden in der Unterkunft und Guiseppe, der Vermieter, konnte uns immer wieder gute Tipps und Infos geben. Auch die Fahrt mit ihm in seinem Motorboot war echt klasse. Überhaupt hat er uns bei allem klasse geholfen. Die Fotos zu den Wohnungen sind jedoch leicht missverständlich und so empfehle zuvor Kontakt mit ihm aufzunehmen um sich alles erklären zu lassen.

Liebevoll und ein bisschen anders 😊

der Aufenthalt war super. es fehlte an nichts. Guiseppe und seine Frau waren sehr nette, liebevolle und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Kleine Probleme wurden sofort und unkompliziert behoben, wie die aktuelle Parkplatzsituation. Auch unser Hund Lola wurde liebevoll behandelt. in der sehr nahen Umgebung gibt es alles was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Wenn wieder Urlaub am Lago Iseo dann bei Guiseppe 😊 the stay was great. nothing was missing. Guiseppe and his wife were very nice, loving and helpful hosts. Small problems were solved immediately and easily, like the current parking situation. Our dog Lola was also treated lovingly. in the very close vicinity there is everything you need for your daily needs. If vacation on Lago Iseo again then with Guiseppe 😊

Bei der Ankunft erwartete uns GUISEPPE mit einem herzlichen Willkommenstrunk. Seine Freundlichkeit verschönerte uns jeden Tag. Seine Vorschläge zur Erkundung der Region wurden von uns dankend angenommen. Bei den hitzigen Temperaturen war der Aufenthalt in den historischen Räumen angenehm pur. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer optimal. Die offene Küche im begrünten Innehnhof haben wir sehr genossen. Ohne die Hilfe von Guisippe hätte ich niemals meine regionale Anglerlizenz bekommen. Wundervolle Unterkunft!

Mein Mann , ich und unser Hund Carlo wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen von Guiseppe und auch während des 5tägigen Aufenthaltes mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps versorgt. Die Ferienwohnung ist riesig! Die Räume sind sehr großzügig gestaltet, der Innenhof ist wunderschön mit vielen Pflanzen, die Außenküche ist gut ausgestattet und ein Erlebnis! Das Erdgeschoss war im Mai etwas kühl, im Sommer wissen Gäste das sicher sehr zu schätzen. Wir danke n Guiseppe für den schönen Aufenthalt und die herzliche Aufmerksamkeit! Claudia, Gerd und Carlo

Sonnige Ferientage am Lago d‘ Iseo

Im Oktober verbrachten wir( Großeltern, Eltern und 2 Jugendliche) 10 Tage in der „ANTICA DIMORA „ von Giuseppe und Laura in Sale Marasino. Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und standen uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Sie gaben Ratschläge für wunderschöne Ausflüge in die Umgebung, sie sorgten im Haus für uns ,sei es mit der Heizung oder anderen Aufmerksamkeiten. Wir hatten herrliches Wetter, aber im Oktober können die Nächte schon recht kühl sein. Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal, alles für die Versorgung Notwendige ist fussläufig zu erreichen ( Lebensmittel , Bäcker, Tabacco für Tickets jeder Art, Bar, etc.)Die Anlegestelle für Linienboote über den See und der Bahnhof und auch Busverkehr sorgen dafür, dass man das Auto stehen lassen kann. Einzig der Parkplatz für das Auto war etwas missverständlich beschrieben, der Parkplatz am Haus konnte nur zum Be- und Entladen für eine Stunde genutzt werden. Parken in direkter Nähe war aber kein Problem. Gegen kleines Entgelt konnten die öffentlichen Parkplätze genutzt werden. Alles in Allem hatten wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der „ANTICA DIMORA „ von Laura und Giuseppe. Danke!
