Week at Le Trayas

A wonderful property in a wonderful part of the world. Arrival was easy and Eve and Christian were very gracious and welcoming hosts. Christian helped us with luggage up the steps which was most welcome and we enjoyed the pool, the view and numerous local restaurants and observing the French people at the beach. Being from Australia we obviously love the beach and one of the reasons for our love of this area is to see how another country has a similar outlook. Great week.

Delightful with some challenges

This is an absolutely beautiful place. The small apartment is quite lovely and the pool with a view is spectacular. However, there were some points that one should be aware of before staying here. The owners have an apartment above you, and although they were very nice and careful to give you privacy at the pool, you were still aware when they were there. The check-in time was contingent on when the owners could be available and was narrowed down to a 40-minute window of 17:00-17:40. We were travelling over 300 km that day and had to plan our travels on hitting that window. The owners gave us a very detailed tour of the small apartment on arrival, after helping us bring up our baggage, which was very nice. They contacted us a few days before arrival and asked if we wanted bedding and towels in the apartment. I missed the last sentence in the site description alluding to the fact that sheets and towels were extra. I had never come across that in any other VRBO but approved the extra charge. Upon arrival, they wanted the fee for the sheets and towels in cash. I always thought that everything had to go through VRBO, but she pointed out that in her contract (which we received in French and i don't speak much French) it was explained. Amenities are minimal. The toaster oven needed a foil liner, but they didn't have any foil. They had a liquid soap dispenser but no soap. We did have toilet paper and a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. I recommend that you bring your own bedroom pillows if that is important to you. The final surprise came when we let them know we were leaving at 7:00 am and she explained that we could not leave that early and it said in the contract that we had to leave between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. After a rather incredulous response from my wife, we convinced her that we were leaving at 7:00 am so we could make our flight. Again, this is a very beautiful property. We were able to really enjoy the grounds, the pool, the area and its restaurants. It just seemed that maybe this is a new venture for the owners, and you should be prepared to interact with them.

Vue merveilleuse, hébergement à la hauteur dans une résidence sous très (trop) haute surveillance où la présence des propriétaires vient se heurter avec une certaine conception de l'intimité. Ajoutez à cela l'impossibilité de convier ne serait-ce qu'un couple d'amis à passer prendre l'apéritif sous couvert de prétextes fallacieux. J'ai plus de 50 ans et je n'ai pas l'habitude qu'on me prenne pour un ado. Du coup, séjour un peu gâché.

Wir hatten wunderbare 2 Wochen bei Eve und Christian. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, makellos sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage und Aussicht sind außergewöhnlich und traumhaft schön. Und on top: Eve und Christian haben uns mit offenen Armen empfangen, sehr herzliche und liebenswürdige Gastgeber, sehr gute Kommunikation (inkl. Tipps für Cannes, Nizza und die Region), alles sehr unkompliziert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, alles absolut top, sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Sehr liebe und rücksichtsvolle Gastgeber.Ein traumhafter Urlaub in einer tollen Unterkunft die unsere Erwartungen übertroffen haben. Eine aussergewöhnliche Lage mit Ausblick aufs Meer wie man sich ihn nicht besser wünschen kann. In Realität ist das Anwesen und die Aussicht noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Beautiful escape

Eve and Christian are extremely welcoming hosts. We had a little trouble finding the property initially however Eve got in her car and came to find us. So helpful and nothing was too much trouble, checking we were ok and having a good time. The apartment has superb views and is well equipped with everything you might need. There are a lot of steps up to the apartment so I wouldn't recommend to those with mobility problems, however we were fine with that. The apartment and area are simply beautiful and I would recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you Eve and Christian for allowing us to enjoy a lovely holiday in your little part of paradise!

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Die Villa befindet sich in einer geschlossenen Wohnanlage, kein Verkehr, Auto steht sicher. Der Blick aufs Meerund die angrenzenden Hügel ist überragend. Die Wohnung, die Terrasse und der Pool entsprechen der Beschreibung, sind sehr gepflegt und erlauben von jedem Punkt den phantastischen Blick aus Meer. Die Vermieter, Eve und Christian, sind sehr hilfsbereite, gastfreundliche und dennoch zurückhaltende Gastgeber. Wir haben hier 14 wundervolle Tage verlebt und können dieses Objekt nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Ein Urlaub im Paradies

Ein Urlaub im Paradies Ein wirklich ausgesprochen hübsches Anwesen an der Cote d‘Azur. In der Villa sind zwei Wohnungen, oben wohnen die Vermieter, unten ist die Ferienwohnung. Den Pool hat man sozusagen ganz für sich alleine. Die Vermieter fragen, wann es passt, wenn sie den Pool selbst nutzen möchten. Ein traumhafter Blick aufs Meer, wie in den Bildern gezeigt, fast noch ein bisschen schöner. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Picture Perfect!

Sometimes photos represent a property in a more flattering way than what you experience on arrival. Not here! The view and gardens are even more beautiful, on a scale of 10, easily a 12! The gorgeous infinity pool is deep and long enough to swim laps. The guest suite is cosy, equipped with modern appliances, kitchen service and the decor is lovely. The charming owners Eve and Christian welcomed us with a bottle of chilled rose and were very thoughtful in ensuring we enjoyed private use of the pool and terrace area. If you are first time visitors to this coastal area, following are a few notes intended to be helpful. If schedule permits, prior to check-in stop at a supermarket for provisions. The nearest full size grocery is 10 km away in Theole sur Mer and open limited hours. The house is situated in an exclusive gated community. Be sure to check with Eve for the access code to the main entrance gate. Parking is on the street and guest suite reached by quite a steep staircase/driveway not suitable for people with mobility concerns. Currently the VRBO rate posted does not include bed linens, kitchen/bath towels or cleaning fee. These items require a separate contract with owners payable in Euros. Expect a luxury experience featuring a spectacular, unforgettable view overlooking the beautiful coastline, watching yachts, sailboats and cruise ships enroute between Cannes and St. Tropez. Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in herausragender Lage mit wunderbaren Blick auf das Mittelmeer und die Bucht von Cannes. Die Beschreibung entspricht voll der Realität, die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr gut und das gesamte Objekt inkl. des Pools ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Da das Haus an einer Straße in einer geschlossenen Wohnanlage steht, kann man auch sein Auto dort bedenkenlos parken. Die Vermieter Eve und Christian sind sehr gastfreundliche und nette Menschen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit dort wieder eine schöne Zeit verbringen.

Séjour à Noël une peu gâché par la météo mais compensé par la vue !

Très bonne communication et accueil (avec chocolats !) par Eve et Christian. L'appartement est confortable, joliment décoré, conforme aux photos (la vue !) et à la description. Cuisine bien équipée, tout est fonctionnel. Grand canapé et très grande télé (avec box Orange) dans la pièce à vivre. On a regretté un coin repas peu confortable et spartiate (petits tabourets hauts et petite table haute) : on sent qu'il est prévu de manger dehors, mais fin décembre la météo n'était pas au rendez-vous, et la terrasse n'est pas très ensoleillée (orientation Nord Est et soleil trop bas dès 14h). On a fini par rentrer le mobilier de terrasse dans l'appartement ! La vue nous a tout de même enchanté même sous la pluie !

Traumhaft!

Die Unterkunft war schön, modern, aber auch traditionell eingerichtet. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Blick von der Terrasse über den Pool auf das Meer ist traumhaft. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können es nur weiter empfehlen.
