Situated just one block from “Comanche Crossing” and the Frio River, Vila Muniz, is a short walk for you and the family to a full day of floating fun!

As you enter the property via its circular drive, you will see the large home set back from the roadway with a huge front porch with lots of seating and soaring 25’ ceiling.

Surrounded by beautiful mature cedar, oak and birch trees, when you enter the Villa you immediately notice the expansive living room, vaulted ceiling and multiple seating areas. The easy going, rustic decor makes this home comfortable and relaxing.

Villa Muniz’s second floor has been designed as a huge vaulted second story bunk room. This open, spacious floor plan allows for lots of family and friends.

The best part is outside with another covered porch, lounge seating around the fire pit, volleyball court, basketball hoop, horseshoe pit and more!

Drive or walk over the free-flowing Frio River, which is fun for everyone. Mountain, river and meadow views make this an outstanding place to set up your tent on the river. Ask us about how to find the quiet Frio River frontage.

Perfect spot for family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Muniz Villa!! Location was beautiful and safe as it was in a gated community. Communication with the host was easy and we always had quick responses. On the day of check-in the house was clean. However, 2 of the restrooms did not have any toilet paper and 1had a clogged drain. It was just an inconvenience the firt night. The next day morning the host sent a handyman to fix the issues and replace toilet paper. One thing that surprised us, is that we needed to purchase a linen package ( towels, bed sheets, pillowcases) The house does not come with any of that. Thankfully the host was nice and gave us 10 towels free of cost. But be prepared to either purchase that package or bring your own pillowcase, linen and towels from home.
