I stayed here for four nights in January and overall it’s a nice hotel. The food (breakfast was free) and dinner were pleasant. If you order from the buffet the food is of course of Finnish delicacy but the à la carte menu is good with lots of options and good prices for food and alcoholic drinks. The rooms themselves are pleasant slightly on the smaller side, but the bathroom is lovely with a great shower. The view from the bedrooms is also lovely, but there’s a couple of things that I could do with improving across the bedrooms. First thing is the glass windows should be one way (so you can see out but you cannot see in). The view outside is so stunning you want to be able to have your curtains open all the time but you can’t because people can see directly in and windows face each other. Secondly, it would be nice to have some more amenities in the room. There was only green tea, in my room. I feel there should be one of every tea(I had to go back into the main dining hall in order to get additional teabags, but these are not supplied as standard during housekeeping). It would also be nice to have small plates / small juices? In the bathroom, something a small as shower caps small set of tweezers et cetera would make for a better experience. One thing I couldn’t stand is the two single beds - I don’t know if there was an option to have one king/queen bed but this option wasn’t provided to me. The separate bed

Wir haben drei Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht. Die Zimmer waren sauber und insgesamt war alles in Ordnung, allerdings hat uns das Hotel nicht zu 100% überzeugt. Frühstück und Abendbuffet waren okay, aber nichts Besonderes. Das Personal war zwar freundlich, wirkte jedoch oft unaufmerksam und etwas langsam. Die Lage ist gut: In der Nähe gibt es Restaurants, einen Pub, einen Supermarkt und man ist schnell an Wanderwegen. Die Sauna haben wir wegen der umständlichen Regelung mit begrenzten Zeiten und da sie außerhalb beim Pub war nicht genutzt. Insgesamt ein solides Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, aber wir haben in Lappland auch deutlich bessere Hotels erlebt.

Hotel nuovo, molto bello, posizione comoda, pulito, cibo ottimo! Unica considerazione, a cui però non abbiamo prestato particolare attenzione, la pulizia quotidiana della camera, che non mai stata fatta. Abbiamo fatto anche un escursione direttamente con l’hotel ed è organizzata bene.. conclusione: consigliato!

Das Hotel ist ganz neu, ungefähr Anfang Dezember 2025 eröffnet. Es ist in der Mitte des Dorfes gelegen, nebenan hat es eine Bar mit Programm am Abend und schräg gegenüber einen kleinen, preiswerten Take Away für den kleinen Hunger. Das Zimmer sieht wirklich genau so aus wie auf den Bilder und die Lobby ist super gemühtlich um zu verweilen. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - danke für alle infos. Man kann bis 10 Uhr frühstücken. Die Auswahl ist üppig und sehr lecker - das Brot kann ich sehr empfehlen. Das Buffet (gibt aber auch à la carte) am Abend erscheint mir etwas überteuert zu sein, aber man wird ja nicht dazu gezwungen und es gibt genug andere Möglichkeiten im Dorf. Es gibt sicher günstigere Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in Saasriselkä, aber die sind bestimmt auch nicht so gemütlich! Mir hat es extrem gut gefallen, und ich wäre gerne noch länger geblieben.
