2nd time around didn't disappoint

The communication with Mr.White and Donna was perfect. This was our second stay and it didn't disappoint again; despite having 3 days of rain. The property is beautiful, clean and peaceful. It's nice because Donna is always willing to answer questions no matter what time of day and the level of customer service is special. Wonderful stay and thank you AGAIN

Island vibes

Just a great well put together place.views are spectacular. Everything you would need for a great Break from the fast world most of live in.super clean and organized.beautiful spot and my favorite rental so far. Fantastic Getaway

Fantastic! A great location and a perfect place to unwind and relax. The wonderful view was enjoyable from both inside and out on the deck. Our host was super helpful and responsive. The kitchen and cottage in general were very well equipped, well maintained and, up to date. We walked to the Sand Bar for delicious food and cocktails, everything else was a short golf cart ride away. Highly recommended.

Great Stay!

We have been to Spanish Wells three times, and this was the best cozy cottage we have stayed in, yet! Its fresh, clean, and well-appointed with all the kitchen items and beach supplies you need. The porch view is wonderful and it's a quick cart ride into town and nearby beaches. We look forward to staying at Tennessee Sunshine, again!

Stay at this jewel!

This really was a relaxing stay in paradise. Beautiful location & unparalleled views from the porch, super comfy bed & spotless cottage. Owner has thought ofanything you could need. We will be back as soomn as we can!

Beautiful, majestic skies, and lovely host!

I loved my stay at TennesSea Shine. Tavis, the host, was so kind and attentive, guiding me to the best spots for lunch, beaching, and kayaking. The bed had the perfect linens for a restful sleep, and the mattress was awesome. I really appreciated Tavis' attention to detail, and I would definitely stay here again. The view is beautiful! You cannot access the beach from the house, but it's only a short drive to the most beautiful beach in the world! The house itself has everything you could need. It's private, comfortable for a couple or solo traveler. Sometimes, little sheep would be in the yard, which I loved! The fruit on the property is plentiful and beautiful foliage, amidst the gorgeous backdrop. Enjoyed!

Tough Circumstances But A Very Positive Experience!

Unfortunately due to airline internet issues we were delayed for 4 days and never made it to Russell Island. Tavis, however, was responsive and understanding. He made a disappointing experience better … he totally understood that circumstances were completely beyond our control. We so appreciated his kindness and will definitely hope to try again next year!

Perfect cottage for two

The stay at this cottage filled up our Island Souls. Watching the sunrise with a salty breeze over the garden of mangoes, papayas and banana trees is truly uplifting. We never turned on the TV or our phones for the entire week. It was a perfect place to reconnect with my wife and nature. If you’re looking for an authentic Island location look no look no further than Tennessee shine. Thank you Travis from the bottom of our hearts….we will see you again! BRAVO

Magical Getaway

Wonderful paradise

First time to Bahamas and can't say enough about it. The communication with Donna and Tavis was flawless. The location is peaceful and pristine. It is a perfect place to unwind and relax. The amenities were perfect for us and we didn't need one thing! Thank you for the best vacation❤️

Beautiful View

We had the pleasure of spending 11 days in this beautiful cottage. The view from the house is stunning and you will find yourself relaxing and gazing out at the water from the deck for hours. The cottage is extremely well cared for and has everything we could have needed for our trip. The owner ( Tavis ) was the absolute best to work with. Communication was outstanding and any questions we had were quickly answered. Spanish Wells is our favorite vacation destination and finding this cottage made it more enjoyable. Already planning our next stay.

Perfect Relaxing Vacay

Perfect quiet ideal vacation spot for two. A short golf cart ride to beaches, restaurants, grocery store and shops. TennessSea Shine was immaculate with all necessities for a relaxing stay with wonderful views. Tavis was an amazing communicative host. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

We can’t say enough about TennesSea Shine! From start to finish we had the best vacation. Tavis was excellent to deal with as well as his property manager Donna. It was our first time visiting the Bahamas and we loved Russell Island/Spanish Wells. We hope to return sooner than later.

The Perfect Getaway

We just got home from our stay at Tennessea Shine and we were so sad to leave. This cottage is perfect for a couple or a small group looking to enjoy paradise. It is adorably decorated and has everything you will need. The porch is where we spent most of our time enjoying meals and playing games, not to mention the breathtaking view! The neighbors are friendly and we got a kick out of the goats and sheep next door, too cute. The cottage comes equipped with all of the beach necessities - chairs, coolers, even a kayak which we loved. Perhaps the highlight of our stay was the friendliness and flexibility of both the homeowner Tavis and the property manager Donna. We were so grateful for their hospitality and being so quick to answer any questions we had. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to staying again!!

Amazing vacation

We had a wonderful stay at TennesSea Shine. It was everything that I imagined and more. We had fresh mangos several times a day from their trees on property. There were sugar apples however they were not ripe yet, so we purchased some at the local Farmer's Market - delicious! I was a little reserved about initially not having direct beach access until I got there and realized how lucky we were to get the views from TennesSea Shine. ALL beaches are just minutes away with the golf cart. We went to several beaches throughout our 8 day stay and could not pick a favorite - maybe ALL of them! We had everything we needed to cook our meals (seafood from Ron's recommended), relax and enjoy paradise. I had injured my ankle the day before my trip and couldn't think of a better place to recuperate - "Injured in Paradise" was what I shared with all my friends who were extremely jealous of all the incredible pictures. Can't wait to plan the next trip to Spanish Wells!

That view!

The cottage is beautiful, clean and has an amazing view! Pretty quiet too! The deck was one of my favorite places to go sit and have dinner after beaching all day! The kitchen was well equipped and had drinking water, the bathroom was very spacious and the bed is absolutely so comfortable even more comfortable than my bed at home! Communication with the owner was flawless and she even arranged the transfers! She answered all my questions quickly as well. I’ve been to Spanish Wells this made the fifth time and by far the nicest place I’ve stayed at! The cottage is on Russell but it’s only a 7 minute drive in a golf cart to the beach so not a big deal at all and for me I’d rather have the peace and quiet so I don’t mind a little drive. The sandbar is a must! Fun atmosphere and good company, not to mention it has a little beach so you can swim in the ocean and get food and cocktails! Did I mention it’s like 5 minutes from the cottage too! And Buddha’s is a favorite of mine. Service is great there and he gives ya a lot of food for your money and ya get full! His burgers are fabulous with homemade buns too! Wonderful stay and I will return to to stay here again! I only have a few small suggestions and they are: at some point maybe get a grill and maybe a medium sized cooler. Idk if there was a cooler anywhere but I didn’t find one (I did have a small cooler I brought with frozen meat in it to help with food costs) and maybe some larger beach chairs.

Sweet TennesSea Shine

I am truly all about COMFORT, and TennesSea Shine stilt cottage exceeded my expectations. I felt like I’d “gotten away” with something (more than a just a lovely retreat), yet from I walked in the door, somehow, it felt like Home...or like how Home should feel. Donna and the Newbolds were AWESOME! Their friendliness and kind support took me by surprise. I got lost returning home :) one evening, called them really nervous, and in 3 minutes the Newbolds were to my rescue! The only “noise” I noticed during my stay was the song of a few goats that held a pre-run meeting :) one morning. I managed to record the dash as one of numerous beautiful moments had while there. Would I return to this lovely place and people? I’d absolutely love to. Thank you, Bonnie & Crew!

Stunning panorama

What a beautiful little stilt home! Has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time on a peaceful little island. Surrounded by the most beautiful and ever changing sea and sky. Nice little kitchen and several restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking. Spacious bath and lovely porch. Best part is waking up to that view right from the very comfortable bed! Recommended for a peaceful downtime and recharge. Definitely would visit again, Caretaker and his wife were awesome.

Fabulous cottage & view.

The unit was as advertised. The covered porch was enjoyable any time of day. Being a football fan, I appreciated the cable TV. It was quiet & peaceful. Vince & Lori were very responsive & helpful. Loved it.

Under the stars ✨

TennesSea Shine is exactly as pictured. The view is spectacular and Bonnie is a pleasure to deal with. The kitchen had everything my husband needed to cook dinner. The bed was very comfortable and the reclining loveseat was relaxing to sit in. We even laid out under the stars one night in the yard. Easy check in and out. We would definitely come back 🤗 …
