Enjoyed the wildlife out back

A deer met us as we came in the first evening and hung around a couple of days, then the elk came by! We only used the refrigerator, never cooked, but there appeared to be a nicely furnished kitchen. Going to the horse races and to visit with friends in the area was our main reason for coming to Ruidoso and this was a last minute trip. We had a comfortable stay, but the driveway definitely needs some work. Very hard to get in or out without scraping the bottom of my Traverse.

Great location

The property is well maintained and in a quiet location with minimal residential traffic. The cabin is within walking distance to hiking trails. Property needs a new grill, which the owners said they were replacing.
