We were looking for something to accommodate 10 adults for a week of hiking, shopping and other adventures. This house absolutely provided the perfect location to do everything we wanted to do. It's located about midway between Charlottesville and Shenandoah National Park. There were several antique stores and restaurants nearby to visit and grocery stores for stocking up on food and beverages. The house was spacious, open and comfortable enough for 10 adults. It was equipped with everything you might need. The area was quiet and peaceful with a large outside area for games and other group activities. We did have some problems with water loss midweek but the host was easy to contact and very responsive. The issues were resolved within hours. Easy entry and helpful information about the area provided.

This was such a perfect house! The house itself is gorgeous with a huge lawn. Everything in the house is very well equipped and comfortable. We loved the couch so much, we kept talking about how comfortable it was haha. This was absolutely perfect for our group trips with adults and small kids

Absolutely lovely!
We had a wonderful time during our stay! The house was even better than the pictures. Spacious and well decorated! The pond was the perfect addition to this stay with my husband and kids taking multiple fishing trips. Judy was lovely to communicate with quick to respond. The location is tucked away and quiet yet very easily accessible when you’re ready to venture out. We found a hidden gem with this property and we are excited to stay again in the future!

Cozy & Quaint
Our family rented the property while planning to participate in a full weekend of activities in Charlottesville. The location and comfort of the home exceeded our expectations with respect to our back and forth commute to Charlottesville (appx 30 mins away). There is plenty of space within the home to accommodate couples and family members, as needed. We didn’t venture away from the home too much, but there is certainly some space to explore without interaction with neighbors. The night sky was dynamic in this rural location and bird watching and fishing seem to be an easy activity to enjoy here. There may be some range practice occurring nearby but other than that the goats, sheep, cows and dogs will be the only noise you will hear. The host was very responsive to our few inquiries and we are most thankful for our stay here.

Sibling Weekend
We are brothers and sisters that that are spread out and get together once or twice a year. This year we visited Charlottesville and did some of the wine trail. Had a blast! The house is great, clean, very well decorated, quiet, and spacious! A real gem! Thanks
