We loved our stay in the Blackhouse Cottage, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was gorgeously appointed and well set out. The beds were super comfortable and we were snug and warm in the cold. So cozy and the perfect place to unwind and relax. We would stay here again and again.

A great place to stay and our second time in this property, wonderful location, quiet and the cottage has real character. It's a real pain not having a washing machine though and that may influence our decision to return. You need to provide more towels or at least provide swimming towels. I think some of the kitchen utensils need an upgrade too - a decent sharp knife and a cheese grater wouldn't go astray
