Dom and his colleagues provided cheerful, excellent service. The hotel is in an historic building but overall is in great shape. Yes, you may need to climb some stairs, but the staff, charming accommodations and access out your door to the bustling, ancient city make it more than worthwhile.

The building, especially the interior, was very well taken care of and clean, the staff were very attentive and courteous, the location was convenient. Breakfast was good as well as convenient. The nights were quiet, the bathroom especially nice. And Ravinj is a lovely place with the Villa Tuttorotto centrally located.

Wonderful experience, the property is perfectly positioned in the old town. Our room had a water view, and we took our breakfast on the terrace which also has a water view. Communication was excellent and the staff were absolutely wonderful. This property is top drawer.

Our US family of 4 stayed in the Garibaldi annex of Villa Tuttorotto for 2 nights in early July 2022. The rooms were excellent and served as a great base for exploring Rovinj and Istria. It was a short walk from the parking area, and the staff met us to pick up and drop off in a golf cart. Domo was very helpful in describing some ways to enjoy the area. Despite being right downtown, the apartment was not noisy. Everything was clean, a/c worked, all in all a great stay!

I was taken aback at first by the equipment gym outside my door & the small bed on the last floor. However, the view quickly made up for it & the hotel is very well located. Additionally, the hotel felt very boutique living in a home with a living room you can fully utilize. Plus, the receptionist made my stay very pleasant with the copious breakfast I’m still salivating about.

Solo winter stay

I had the most wonderful, yet short, stay at this beautiful place! Dom made me feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, the room with a view perfectly comfortable and well-appointed. Air Conditioner turned off - hot room - no refund

When we checked into the hotel, the air conditioning had been turned off for the season and our room was stifling hot. We politely told the woman who checked us in that we needed to move to a different hotel because it would have been impossible to sleep. We told her we would work the situation out with Hotels.com and that we would be willing to pay for one night. Hotels.com contacted the hotel for me today and the hotel refused to refund us any of the money for our planned three-night say. I think the customer service rep really tried to work it out with the hotel because I was on hold for about 15 minutes. Hotels.com kindly gave us a voucher for $200 for future use since the hotel would not cooperate. I find it very unreasonable that the hotel did not give us a refund or partial refund.

Nice but very difficult to find

In the facts this is like a bed and breakfast rather than an hotel. Facilities are in a nice old house but there are very difficult to find inside the city. The hotel should provide more information and assintance for facilitate travelers to approach the site. If you are travling in a car be prepared to park at around 10 minutes walking distance and carry on your lugagge at the hotel. No help for this.

Cute, friendly B&B!!

I loved this hotel - great character, awesome breakfast (with a nice view of the harbor), cozy spot off the side streets inside the heart of the old city. Also much more convenient to get to with luggage than some of the other b&bs that are further off the main walkways / up steeper hills. If these sort of things matter to you when you travel, I would point out that: - it is nearly impossible to find the first time. I followed the directions they sent but if you haven’t seen the web of streets before, it’s tough. I also asked 5-6 people including at the restaurant on what ended up being around the corner, and the 6th person was the first who knew. No problem finding my way back there after, but check-in is hard if you’re coming in without assistance. - there is limited hot water. Both mornings the water turned cold while I was mid-washing my hair. But if you’re not worried about those things, it’s a delightfully quaint, friendly b&b in a great spot very close to the water and main walkways!
