Decent location but super ghetto

Pros: About a 7 minute walk from the metro station and really close to most tourist spots. Cons: WiFi didn’t work at all for anyone. The guy said that it was broken but that they were fixing it. They weren’t, because it never worked. The area is also kind of ghetto and the place is hard to find. Breakfast is a coffee with a croissant from across the street.

Excellent hotel to stay

When I came to the address of the hotel, it was hard time to find the entrance. The hotel was located in the first floor of the large apartment. The hotel staff may be in shortage, therefore, I had to find them. After I called the number on the front desk, very friendly hotel staff came over to me and took care of my check-in. The room is not large, but it is clean and neat. There are a large space for storage. The bathroom was clean. I stayed there for a few days and their room making was perfect. Overall, I strongly recommend everybody to stay at this hotel. You may be puzzled initially when finding the entrance, but otherwise perfect.

A little gem at the gates of Rome.

At first a little hard to find, "Il Gladitore" was superb. Very helpful, friendly check-in, in a true Roman neighbourhood near to the Pyramid of Cestius and Porta San Paolo within easy walking distance. Room was large, bathroom modern and spotless. Excellent value. Will definitely return. Grazie!

Perfect Stay

I would def go back to rome & would book this hotel, it was just outside the tourist bit of town so everything was cheaper from drinks to food, so much to see.

Ok rum men ett otroligt överpris

Vi skulle bo lite finare, lite bättre en natt. Vi brukar alltid försöka hitta det billigaste alternativet annars. Dom krav jag klicka i var gratis parkering och frukost. Vi blev djupt besvikna. Det va väldigt svårt att hitta hotellet. Det fanns ingen tydlig skylt och man fick gå in på en bakgård. Först satt vi och vänta i receptionen i över 20 min på att någon skulle komma. Jag tröttnade ur och ringde upp Hotels kundtjänst å då kom en städerska och hjälpte oss. Hon kunde ingen engelska alls. Jag frågade om parkering å hon visade att vi skulle åka ner bakom hotellet, men det va stängt. Öppnade 18 OCH KOSTADE PENGAR! 15€ Rummet va helt ok, men inget utöver d vanliga. Sängen va ok, men inte jätte skön. Det va rent å frächt. Fruktansvärt lyhört. Trodde nästan att grannarna va i rummet. Vårat andra krav var frukost. Och visst ingick det......fast jag kallar d INTE frukost. Vi fick gå till ett litet cafe på andra sidan gatan. Där skulle vi lämna en lapp, som vi skulle ha fått dagen innan. Men vi hade inte fått någon lapp. Men han på cafet va jätte snäll och skrev upp på en egen lapp istället. Där fick vi välja på något att dricka typ kaffe eller juice å sen välja en kaka. Som han sa: something sweet. Det va d. Så en kaffe å en bulle. Inte frukost om du frågar mej. Nej, hit kommer vi aldrig åka tillbaks. Inte värt pengarna ett enda dugg. Hade det vatit ett jättebilligt ställe hade jag inte klagat, men nästan 900:- för en natt....då förväntar jag mej betydligt mer.

Hotel proche centre

Hotel proche du centre du metro (5min a pied) et du colisée (20min a pied environ). Supermarché proximité en face et pas mal de resto dans le secteur. L'hotel possede une cuisine commune, tres pratique avec un micro-onde et un frigo, et se trouve dans un immeuble residentiel. J'etais un peu decu de la chambre car pas tres bien eclairé.Assez bruyante coté rue egalement. La chambre sur 3 nuits n'as pas été nettoyé et le lit fait une seule fois, (ennuyant lorsqu'on a un enfant en bas age et que les poubelles s'accumulent dans la chambre!) Neanmoins le personnel est serviable et bienveillant. Je le recommanderais quand meme pour son emplacement.

Ottima posizione, colazione così così

E' un B&B all'interno di un condominio (tipico a Roma). La posizione è ottima perchè c'è la stazione Ostiense e perchè a 2 minuti a piedi si raggiunge una zona con molti locali e ristoranti a buon prezzo. Unico neo la colazione. Mi è stato dato un buono valido per brioches + bibita presso un bar lì vicino (un po' poco rispetto al costo della camera).

A circa 200m dalla Stazione Ostiense.

Sono stata a Roma per sostenere un esame presso l'Università . Immaginate la tensione emotiva ...e del resto la meravigliosa città di Roma mi era ancora sconosciuta . Ma arrivata alla stazione Ostiense è stato facile trovare il B &B " Il Gladiatore" dopo appena 200 m all'interno di un palazzo con custode dove mi attendeva la cordialità e l'ospitalità di Yuri, l'addetto all'accoglienza , che aspettava il mio arrivo . La graziosa camera matrimoniale ( uso singola con bagno personale interno) è stata provvidenziale assieme alla macchinetta del caffè nelle ultime ore di studio prima dell'esame del mattino successivo. He .. si !! Bisogna tornarci di nuovo in vacanza !!

Affittacamere quasi perfetto

Posizione comoda, vicino alla metro di Piramide. Camera molto comoda, pulita, bagno in ottime condizioni. Se fosse un hotel, a giudicarlo dalla camera gli si darebbero anche 4 stelle. Quindi se non importa il contesto (ovvero, le camere sono in un appartamento in un normale condominio, e la colazione si fa tramite un buono in un bar di fronte) la sistemazione a livello qualità/prezzo è perfetta. Unica pecca: le donne delle pulizie iniziano a lavorare presto (saranno state le 7 di mattina), parlando a voce altissima tra loro in corridoio e disturbando il sonno!

Peccato il personale

Siamo arrivati in hotel stremati, la.ragazza ci ha visti e ci ha comunque fatto aspettare qualche minuto perché annaffiava le piante. La nostra prenotazione non le risultava PALESEMENTE nonostante abbia tentato di farci credere il contrario. Arrivati in casa ci fa vedere la camera, molto bella e pulita. Pensiamo ci spieghi qualcosa su wifi o utilizzo cucina e invece il tempo di aprirci la porta e se ne va. La colazione è in un bar li vicino in cui si può prendere una cosa da bere e una da mangiare. L'hotel è accanto a Roma ostiense, però a parer mio è in una zona brutta e non tranquilla..il check out? Mettendo le chiavi della camera dentro la cassetta della posta.

soggiorno piacevole

Anche se siamo arrivati tardi,per via del traffico,il gestore ci ha aspettato ed è stato molto gentile venendoci incontro. La zona è comodissima per raggiungere molti dei monumenti importanti,ed è anche ben servita da mezzi urbani e ci sono molti locali per mangiare, alcuni molto belli!
