I love the "old world" charm of this hotel. It is also perfectly located close to the Rome Central Train Station. i have stayed here previously and enjoyed the same great service again this time.

The front desk manager was very helpful. We were able to check in early. The included breakfast had a good variety of things to eat and is served in a grand old space. The room was comfortable and large for a European hotel. It is very convenient to the Termini train station and a 25 minute walk to many of the main attractions.

No AC in building, manager says it’s turned off this time of year. Was given a loud fan. Opened windows and loud ambulances drive by. Manager moved us to other building (upgraded room, much appreciated but honestly I just needed a room that had ac). Breakfast was awful. No bunson burner under the eggs or bacon, which the food was cold. I let them know this, I just got a response of “oh” and walked away. Tried cereal, the milk was room temperature. I’m seriously not one to complain but for nearly 400€ I expected basics to be covered.

Not a great hotel!

Stayed here from June 18th to the 22nd and was very disappointed. The pictures were better than the actual room and hotel. The room and furnishings were old. The walls were dirty and the beds were very hard, like sleeping on the floor with just a blanket. We were given a room facing traffic and it was very noisy. There was a fee for breakfast which was ok. For the price we paid, almost $1400 for 4 days, it was not worth the money! There are a lot nicer hotels in the area that are priced the same or better and worth the money you pay. I wouldn’t advise this hotel if you want cleanliness and comfort.

We stayed in a hotel similar to this is Paris. A couple of things that might be good for others to know: They have an American style breakfast each morning, our bed was a queen(larger than we are used to while traveling), our bath/shower was VERY tall- there are no places to hold on while getting out. There is an elevator. It is more narrow than those in the US but works fine. We took more than 1 plug adapter and were glad we did. We brought a small plug in fan and used it often. There was A/C but it was not powerful. The lady who cleaned our room was very quick and sweet every day! We appreciated her so much! The hotel is located 2 blocks from Termini station. This was super helpful because we used the metro lines to travel around the city. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel has an amazing history. So much is still original. Loved the quaint and very quiet old elevator with the cage door. Our room was bright and clean and quiet. We had some electrical issues - ie the blow dryer provided in the bathroom would over heat and shut off after a minute or so. Also our adaptors didn’t work in all of the outlets. The hotel provided us with their adaptor so all worked out. It’s in a walkable location to the train station, lovely restaurants and shopping. I would stay here again!

Excellent location by Roma termini. A very old building. Rooms with heavy outdated furniture. Has a constant cigarette smell in the hallways. Excellent rich breakfast The lady at yhe front desk during the day was very pleasant and helpful.

Had a really great time at this Hotel, it us just minutes from Roma Termini, and about 20min walk from historic landmarks and points of interest—like the Trevi fountain. The staff was always helpful and nice, breakfast was included in my stay so that was great. I can say this is a hotel worth returning to. Small detail, the shower made a somewhat loud sound when the water was running and the drainage was slow.

I prearranged for the hotel driver to pick us up at the airport and he never showed. We had to go over to the train station to get to the hotel. Not ideal after long day of travel with 80 year old Mom.

Excellent hotel

The hotel is in 5 min walking distance from the train station. It is very convenient to go to those tourist sites. The breakfast is free and fantastic. We need to go to the train station earlier than the breakfast and they even packed the breakfast for us.
