Great location, and communication. Beautifully renovated property, quiet, serene, picturesque surroundings.Had a great relaxing time and close to the Rock Island State Park for hiking.

We enjoyed our quiet stay in this cute cottage. The porch was a wonderful place to enjoy our morning coffee and we were able to have a fire outside one of the nights we stayed; bonus was hearing the owls! The cottage was well maintained and had everything we needed. It was clean and cozy. The host was very responsive. We had a lovely weekend!

Great communication with host. Property was clean and cozy. Loved the deck and views. Location to Rock Island and many other parks was super convenient. If I had any comment that was not fantastic I would say the shower and bath were small. However, that is minor for all the pluses. We would come back for sure.

I will try not to gush! This is a rustic cabin with quirks. It is closer to the water than the pics show. We saw lots of wildlife INCLUDING a local Eagle both mornings either soring, perched or diving into the river. We also saw a river otter, raccoons fighting in a tree until they saw us watching, lol. We heard a few owls as well as other critters. It was SO relaxing as we watched the boaters and skiers. We will definitely stay here again. The hosts were wonderful.

This little piece of heaven on earth, was exactly my husband and I needed. It was our anniversary trip. I enjoyed drinking my tea outside every morning. The view of the lake was breath taking. I would love to go back sometime in the future.Sara the property owner, was always a phone all away.

Cute cabin for weekend getaway

The location is fantastic. The outside view is beautiful. This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. It was rainy and then snowed overnight which cut our trip short. The cabin is peaceful and perfect for relaxing and afternoon naps. I highly recommend lunch at The Market, visiting the local antique shops, and The Foglight Foghouse for a more upscale but amazing meal! Owners are great and fantastic communication!

My husband needed a break. He told me to find a place and tell him the dates. But dont tell me where. Best Thanksgiving, since being married. It was quiet, peaceful, tranquil and very cozy. We both loved it. nothing else

Home away from home

Relaxing

This area is so peaceful and quiet. The view was amazing. The house was small but perfect for just the 2 of us. It's a cute little set up with many places to sit and relax. I loved all the little throws they placed throughout the house and outside on the seats
