The wood panelling and light-coloured walls give the natural ambience and the interior a sunny feel. With a telescope, you can observe the surrounding nature and enjoy the view even more. Rømø is surrounded by the roaring North Sea and the vast, shallow Wadden Sea and offers fascinating natural areas. On a walk to the harbour, you can take a look at the fishing boats or watch the Sylt ferry dock and cast off. Rømø has captivated people for centuries. First it was the fishermen and then the wealthy whaling captains, whose beautiful and lovingly restored thatched houses are still admired by visitors to the island today.
