Kindness of others always warms the heart.

We drove around in circles for 2 hours looking for the hotel. GPS Kept saying that we had arrived. We had. The hotel was only 100 metres away, but no road access. A kind man phoned the hotel for us only to find out that we had a one time access on the pedestrian way to check-in and off load the bags. How coukd we know this? Tourist information booth where we had stopped didn't know this. It would have been nice to know this in advance. The location and hotel where perfec. Not our first time Riva del Garda. We will be back.

Nice place for holiday

The place very nice with welcome people, We did star trip every day to deferent point, the night the city very nice only the shop close at 1900, The hotel was perfect only the parking was very expensive and far from the hotel, we download App for parking and that was much better.

Prettiest place on Lake Garda

The location is the best possible on the lake. Breakfast selection see equal to a full buffet. Staff very helpful. Parking was confusing. Room was large, needs updating. And pillows were the strangest I have ever encountered. Would defiantly stay again.

Great experience

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and they gave us an option of two rooms to choose from upon checkin. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast caters for gluten free upon request.

Large apartment with good facilities. Restaurant gave a discount and pizzas were excellent. So near everywhere in Riva. Would go back.

Excellent location

The Bellavista hotel is on the square and our room overlooked the square and museum. Hotel is really clean and plenty of variety for breakfast. The staff were very helpful with bus and train timetables.

Waterfront hospitality

Excellent, the rooms are very clean, everything feels right and reception is very helpful and nice! The location is amazing, but, it is a bit problematic if you arrive with a car because it's in a no-traffic area (there's a payed parking about 5 minutes walk, a special permission for luggage drop-off can be arranged at the reception).

Italian gem in excellent position

Excellent position, very friendly staff and a real "Italian" feel to it. There is multi-storey parking nearby available at EU16/day, which is worthwhile given the parking position in Riva. The breakfast on the piazza, shaded by a tree, is particularly worth mentioning. We chose to upgrade to a room with lake view, which was beautiful and well worth the extra Eu20/day.

We were there for a regatta - the town was full!! The Hotel Bellavista was comfortable, convenient. Our room had no view but our brothers room's lake view was spectacular.

The location of the Hotel Bellavista couldn't be any more perfect. The staff was great, the hotel facility excellent, and what to say of the breakfast? Just delicious!

Beautiful location

Riva is beautiful and Hotel Residence Bellavista is in the middle of everything. We got a small apartment that came with a kitchenette. They have a strange trash policy. You are given several trash bags and are in charge of disposing of your own trash. I suppose if you're cooking a lot, I can understand them not wanting to deal with your trash, but the weird thing was that the trash bin they wanted you to use was a 5 minute walk away! I'm glad we didn't make too much trash. The apartment was on the top floor and had a nice balcony with a table and chairs. Since it was the top floor, it seemed to be a converted attic? Some of the ceilings were angled pretty low, which is fine for me, as a short person. I was concerned about his comfort, but my 6 ft tall boyfriend seemed to manage just fine for the 3 nights we were there.
