A key reason for booking a room at the hotel was to use the pool and sauna. When I enquired at reception about access to the pool and sauna I was told that the pool and sauna were there for guests paying for Spa treatment. I did not want Spa therapy and therefore I did not use the pool or sauna, very disappointing.

Very noisy!! The location of the hotel to the local transport links means constant noise from the trams / buses etc. there are also a couple of bars nearby and the noise travels from the outdoor seating (room dependent we were almost directly above the seating outside). Suite was a generous size (802) though. Breakfast choice was good but busy at times and had to wait to be seated.

Very good and central location

Really central location. Easy walk to Old Riga and the main tourist attractions (House of the Blackheads, Occupation of Latvia museum etc). If you are getting the bus from the airport the stop is right on the street in front so very convenient. The room was really nice and had everything needed. The only downside was my room was at the front of the property right near the tram line so you could hear the trams later into the evening.

It's OK

The hotel is in good place bot far from restaurant's and historical part of the city. O had an issues with my card bot opening the door after late night around midnight i couldn't get in the room with my card beitithe receptionist this was very unpleasant experience. The personal try to resolve but he lacks of communication in that process that makes all situations more awkward. It took around half hour so i went yo bed after 1am. No apologies no explanations. Let all this stay very unpleasant. Something to improve or work on. Haven't tried the Wellness amenities so can't comment on this.

BEWARE - Spa NOT included

I specifically choose this hotel because, unlike others, it did not indicate that there would be an additionally charge to use the spa. I was bitterly disappointed on arrival to be told it was NOT included. I would have chosen the other better positioned hotel if i had known that in advance. VERY DECEPTIVE. I did love that there's a water filter on each floor and a reusable glass bottle in your room to fill if you don't have your own bottle. Great green initiative. Spotlessly clean. Directly opposite train/bus station and on edge of old town.

Fantastic family room
