2/10 Terrible

I came to get my wisdom teeth removed and noticed this hotel was new, so we had high hopes and decided to stay for three nights. The first night went well, but things quickly took a turn for the worse.
The morning after my surgery, I returned to the hotel to find that the entire building had lost power. Since I needed a functioning air conditioner to recover comfortably, we started looking for another hotel. Around 3 PM, the power was restored, so we decided to stay.
Unfortunately, that night the electricity went out repeatedly—more than six times. By 8 AM the next morning, it was out again and didn’t return. What made it even more frustrating was that all the surrounding businesses had power—only the hotel remained without it. At that point, we decided to move to Altavista, a nearby hotel just minutes from La Quinta, and it was a much better experience.
To make matters worse, despite being one of the few if not the only remaining guests in the hotel, no staff member ever checked in with us or offered any updates about the power situation—likely because they were too busy on their phones.
I will not be staying at La Quinta again, and I cannot recommend it to anyone.
