Great location in the city center, next to a grocery store, well equipped, comfy beds. A bit noisy but that’s to be expected given the localisation near one of the main street. Would recommend if you want to explore Reykjavík.

Amazing location

We stayed here as a family of five and it was a great fit for our needs. The apartment is on the smaller side, but it was thoughtfully laid out and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn’t have been better – close to resturants, shoping, the church, the older city of iceland, the water sculpture, etc which made exploring very easy. The loft bedroom is open, so it may not be ideal for families with very young children, but for us it worked perfectly. Overall, a cozy, well-located place that we would happily stay in again.

Older style but fantastic location to grocery/shopping/food. The door locks a bit tricky as I had trouble and had to explain to 3 other people how to use them. It was clean and laundry on site which was great.

Wonderful Stay at Alfred’s Apartments We had a fantastic stay at Alfred’s Apartments! The space was exactly as pictured—clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The host was kind and welcoming, making check-in and communication easy. The location was perfect, with restaurants and a grocery store just a short walk away. The apartment had everything we needed, including a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a very comfortable bed. Our teenager especially loved the cozy loft space. It was a perfect home base for our trip, and we would definitely stay here again!

Stay was excellent-except the family staying above me was absurdly loud until well after 12am, and late at night did something that created a horrible dripping noise in the walls. Property itself was great and the property manager was extremely friendly and helpful-but that family ruined my last night with loud talking, children yelling, and parents arguing.

This place is a little gem. It’s within walking distance of most of the places you will want to go and close to bus stops for transportation for tours and transfers. The host greeted us and helped us to navigate the area. I would stay here again and highly recommend giving it a try!

Nice clean apartment that was fully furnished. Initially had issues with the locks but the owner was onsight and quickly addressed the issue. Also great location as it is in the central part of the city and within walking distance to all the major attractions.

We stayed in 2 bedrooms with balcony on 2nd floor for 6 nights. Place is small and basic in central location. 2 blocks from bus stop 9. Owner lives at property. Bathroom was tiny. Shower space was small, we managed. It was a small unit. No extra space to put bags. We joined 2 chairs to put our 2 carryons. Nice cafe and fast food nextdoor for early or late night meals.
