Nice quiet location, BUT DIRTY floors
Our family stayed in Rennes for part of our vacation to France. The location was great for many of the places we wanted to visit. There is a grocery store nearby. The beds were fairly comfortable, and we slept well for the most part. Quiet, nice neighborhood. We appreciated that there was enough toilet paper stocked and dishwasher pods to wash dishes. The kitchen was well stocked and has nice appliances. We loved this rental overall, but we had two complaints:1. There was no handrail going up the open staircase on both sides from the main living area to the upstairs bedrooms. While carrying heavy luggage up those stairs, you need something to hold onto to steady yourself and it's a little dangerous.2. The rental floors were dirty with dirt and debris right when we walked inside and throughout the rooms upstairs and on the main level. The front stairs outside leading into the rental had leaves, debris and dirt that would get tracked inside. I had to have the woman who checked us in sweep and clean the balcony off the back which was littered with toilet paper, cigarette butts and leaves, before she left. Then she proceeded to clean the hand brush and dustpan she used to pick up the garbage off the balcony in the kitchen sink????? (That was disgustingly unsanitary.) Whoever cleans this rental is not doing their job.This property could be a 10, but overall we give it a 7.
