Good value for money and pleasant

The staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast buffet offered an excellent selection. The bed was very good. The room was spotless. It was too small however. I could not even lay down my suitcase. Good value for money overall.

Receptionist excellent quick check in. Good location for us, quiet. Did not have any food so unable to comment. Bathroom was looking a bit tired but shower was strong and hot. Matting on the path leading to the rooms was rucked in many places presenting a tripping hazard.

Great for a stopover

This was a stopover en-route to Italy. It’s fine for a stopover but I wouldn’t use it as a base for a holiday, personally. Great reception staff who spoke multiple languages. They did do breakfast for about €10 per person but we had to set off early so grabbed something on the way. Comfortable bed with a double at mezzanine level Shower was good. No air conditioning in the room, but it was ok b

The wall paint is falling off! The room requires urgent repairs. Walls corners got spider web! Lack of facilities. Beds were very uncomfortable It requires investments. Lack facilities, lack hangers. But breakfast was good. Fresh bread and good coffee.

I should have not expected much for the price paid, but this was not up to the 3.4 out of 5 rating. I have no idea how it is so highly rated. I would give it a 2 star rating at best. The rooms are tiny. The loft bed is hot and hard to get to and maneuver. The bathroom is old which gives an appearance of not clean although it may have been clears. I couldn’t wait to leave.

Adequat and Economical

A standard, old-style French chain hotel. The buildings are getting tired, but the (small) room was fine, the beds comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The location is very convenient for the Autoroutes and the centre of Reims and the grounds of the hotel were OK, but it's in an industrial/commercial area that is not particularly attractive. Verdict: for the price we paid, we were satisfied and would stay there again.

Tired and hungry and disappointed

I booked the hotel as a stopover on our return home from our holiday so I could visit Reims cathedral. I have used Kyriad hotels previously and been happy with our visits. This time however the hotel reception and the exterior of the hotel looked quite run down and not like the pictures I'd seen before booking. We were disappointed to learn that we would not find an alternative to their menu for dinner for my husband who is a vegetarian. We were directed to our room through a garden which was over grown and in need of much attention. The room while adequate was cramped and very hot. because of the state of the garden when we opened the window and door we were invaded with insects. The bathroom was not passable but in need of a deep clean and the door lock stuck requiring my husband to release me from the outside after I couldn't get out. Bed was comfortable thank goodness and the breakfast was plentiful but no staff in attendance so if you needed anything you had to sort it out or rely on other guests. We will not use this hotel again.
