I called to see if I could use the parking lot a few hours early and a grumpy man said absolutely not. When I arrived, I decided to ask one more time and a kind lady was super nice and said yes. She also let me use the restrooms. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. The only inconvenience was not enough trash cans in the room which I could have asked about.

The best part of this hotel was its closeness to the beach. I think the property itself is a little run down by age. A new carpet would have made a difference, but overall it was a clean comfortable stay. The staff was very nice.

The Gold Leaf Hotel is within a block of the beach and within easy walking distance of multiple dining options. The hotel is surprisingly quiet given its location on Route 1. Room prices are less than the prices at other hotels in the immediate vicinity.
