The most magical place. We loved our stay at Barrocal, the staff was amazing, nothing is too much trouble, every detail has been thought of. We stayed at the Sao Lourenco do Barrocal in November and it was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived we were met with incredible concierge service to help plan our weekend and show us our incredible suite. We did a winemaking tour and class along with an olive oil making and class as well as Pilates and all three were great! I am blanking on the instructor names but each were incredibly knowledgeable and we felt spoiled each leg. The food in the restaurant was also incredible. The dinner was great, but the breakfast was equally as impressive. 10/10 would recccomend!

Just as you come onto the property, just outside the reception is a cobble stone path, where sets of chairs and tables are set up to watch the sunset and drink the wines produced at the nearby vineyard. That was my absolute favorite place to sit as we were celebrating my partner's birthday. Our friends from New York were vegetarians and found loads of options on the farm to table menu on offer for breakfast and dinner. It rained the last 3 days of our trip, cancelling our hot air balloon ride, but the concierge toggled quickly and offered us an array of options including an olive oil tasting. Our guide was a fount of knowledge. Thank you!

Hotel incrível, com staff extremamente atencioso e atento a todos os detalhes possíveis. Do momento em que chegamos de carro ao hotel fomos muito bem recepcionados e nota-se de imediato o preparo da equipe para oferecer um serviço de extrema qualidade. Check-in desconstruído, com um drink de boas vindas e canapés servidos no bar o lado da recepção enquanto escaneiam seus documentos e fazem a parte burocrática. Oferta de atividades extras (pagas à parte em sua maioria ) variada. Quarto de extremo bom gosto, clean, confortável e espaçoso. Quartos do monte com excelente vista de Monsaraz. Almoço e jantar no restaurante do hotel com comida muito boa, e cardápios diferentes, o que achei ótimo para variar mesmo que indo ao um mesmo local. Sempre uma atenção impecável de todos durante as refeições. Café da manhã com opções de qualidade, e pratos quentes à la carte muito bons. Amazing and peaceful

Most peaceful and amazing place. Great service, though it becomes slightly less attentive during the weekend due to higher number of guests, it’s still way better than most places. Definitely going back, it’s gorgeous and the best place to reset.
