Host experience, amenities and more. In all my 50 years of travelling it was the worst accommodation I've stayed in. When I arrived at the apartment All the windows were wide opened which was very unusual. When the owner arrived and gave me the keys I realised why the windows were all wide opened. The apartment had a horrible musty smell, as though it had been locked up for years. The kitchen, bathroom cabinets and closet when opened emitted the same horrible musty smelI. When I picked up my hat from the sofa where I had put it a cockroach ran out from under it. On several occasions I opened the kitchen drawer to find cockroach crawling over the cutleries. While staying there I kept whatever I used in the kitchen washed and wrapped in Glad wrap or I poured boiling water over them before using them. I found that the owner would go into the apartment without telling me each time I left. I believe he went in to treat the roach and bug infestation, because during my stay there, each morning I woke up after he had been into the apartment, I found the floor littered with dead cockroaches. I knew he had been going in because I would leave the dead cockroaches on the floor when I went out, and return to find them gone. My electric toothbrush and it's travel case were mysteriously broken. My stay in this apartment was made a nightmare by his constant surveillance day and night. He lived above the apartment and constantly banged on the floor day and night. He was a dreadful host.
