The ground floor living includes a laundry, large lounge with open fire, separate dining room and large kitchen. There are also two double guest rooms and two bathrooms on this floor and well as an office come additional bedroom.
In the upper floor you find the master bedroom with en suite and a third double-bedded guest room. In total the house can sleep 8 adults.
The house is 5 mins of State Highway 2 surrounded be countryside and views of the Tararua Ranges. There is good trout fishing in the Raumahanga and Kopuaranga Rivers and the National wildlife bird centre at Mount Bruce can be reached in just over 20 minutes.
During your stay you are perfectly positioned to enjoy the Wairarapa coastal resorts of Castle Point and Riversdale and will have the opportunity the visit the many vineyards from Opaki 5 mins away to Martinborough 40 mins further South.
