Great location and view

The cabin is a classic Maine camp with updated, modern amenities. We were very comfortable even over a rainy weekend as the place is cozy and the sauna was an added bonus! We would stay here again when in the Rangeley area.

Nice place

Place was very nice and just what we were after. Don't take what I say next as if we didn't like the place for the good definitely outweighs the not as good. I'm nit picking here but the floors were cold, the appliances (microwave, toaster, etc.) all needed carried from their storage spot to the kitchen counter, a small nuisance. The upstairs space is locked off for all you wandering where that ladder goes you will keep on wandering. The parking spot was a few hundred feet away and the snow was 3 feet deep in spots to walk to the cabin. I cleared it myself which don't bother me much. Once again, beautiful place, good host who gave me great information about the area and we would do it all again :)

Perfect Rangeley Getaway!

This was the perfect little spot for our winter getaway. We wanted to stay near town, but have some privacy. This property was perfect! We were ten minutes away from the XC skiing area we came to visit, and an even shorter drive into town. The view was better than expected and the sauna was perfect after some long cold days outdoors.

Peaceful Place to Chill

Very very nice. Cabin is well maintained. Quiet and peaceful. Definitely a place to stay and relax and not be in a hurray to go somewhere Enjoyed the lake view and surroundings. Sunsets from the porch were awesome. Rangeley is great area for sight seeing. Well worth the trip to get away

Sunset Cabin loveliness

We throughly enjoyed our stay. A quiet place to relax and escape. The cabin was extremely well equipped, better than many other places we have rented. We hardly recommend it.

Beautiful Setting

We had a wonderful time at this well-equipped rental. The setting by the lake was perfect, and the cabin was convenient to hiking and kayaking spots. It was nice having a grocery nearby too. Joy was extremely helpful with pre-visit information, and with answering our questions during the visit. We hope to return! nearby too.

Awesome spot!

This property exceeded expectations, very clean and comfortable. Fewer cabins on site than some properties so it was quiet. Located close to town, groceries and restaurants limiting the need to travel if you don't want to. Joy was quick to respond to any questions. Stocked with spices, coffee, tea, toiletries, etc. to get your stay off to a comfortable start. We highly recommend!

The Sunset Cabin

We picked this place for our 1 year anniversary and it was the perfect pick! We love everything about the cabin, it’s very cozy, very clean, great location real close to everything. It sits right on the banks of the lake, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Book it.

Beautiful location in an upscale cottage

The cottage has a small footprint, and is perfectly appointed. Kitchen, bedroom & bath are filled with designer-quality homegoods. But it’s the lake view! Whether you’re seated in front of the large picture window indoors or in the set of Adirondack chairs on the deck or the ones at the fire pit on the lawn, you will enjoy the quiet beauty of the water and the skies. We took advantage of the very-nearby scenic hikes for waterfalls, gorges, and 360 views. Joy describes them all in her welcome book on the table. Even as summer guests we decided to try out the sauna when one of the days dipped into the 50s. Remember to pack some warm clothes! We felt like we were in our own private world despite being a 5-min drive from restaurants and a grocery. Great visit.
