Randall's Island Vacation Packages

This is the former GE executive training center, now having a soft launch into a real hotel. They have been open 3 months and still working out kinks. Minimal food and drinks on site for regular traveler. Easy to get good food from nearby towns. Likely better if with a group for wedding or conference. Outdated but barely used furnishings and decorating make it a fun blast from the past. HUGE fitness center. Perfect brick walkways all over and 1.7 mile walking/ running path. Nice nooks and crannies everywhere to sit, snack and visit with people. Lovely fire pit area, and pooltables, foosball, and table tennis.

Feels like a remote vacation destination just a couple of hours from home. Self-contained property with private beach and pool away from crowds and tourists, but close to town.

Got in early, Checked in early, left the bags and went to visit World Trade One . room was available at 2 PM. It was a short 24 hour trip to New York , so essentially room was needed just ro sleep in it, It was great, the view from the second highest floor in hotel was nice .

Upon entering the Hotel we were very warmly welcomed by Ed who was running the front desk. Wet cute property. Art Deco. GREAT BAR AND RESTAURANT! Amazing service. The waitstaff is very friendly. We were in the main house. Don’t expect a huge rm. expect a cute, cozy room. Almost feels like you’re staying in someone’s guest suite. We had one issue with our tub that Ed at the front desk had fixed immediately. All around Lovely stay.

The room was spotless. The lobby was designed well, with tasteful furniture, a beautiful fireplace and well decorated for the Christmas holidays. One note, when making a reservation, always ask for a room at the front of the hotel as the back of the hotel, the one facing the parking lot, has a train in the distance that you can hear during the day and night
