A heartfelt thank you to Pina, who welcomed us with such warmth and grace. Her attention to detail and personal touches made our stay feel incredibly special. Pina’s genuine care and energy elevated our entire experience, and it’s safe to say she’s the heart of the hospitality at Lux*. Another standout was Fadna at the Lux* Café. Her Zanzibar Iced Coffee is a must-try—absolutely divine and the perfect reflection of the local flavors. Fadna’s passion for her craft shines through in every sip and interaction, making each visit to the café a delightful experience. Lux* Hotel Zanzibar provided not just a place to stay but a collection of unforgettable memories. The incredible staff, especially Pina and Fadna, turned our vacation into something truly magical. Beautiful hotel but very very hot …

It is a beautiful hotel!!! So nice place !!! Unfortunately there is not air acondition is any place , at room air condition did not work properly and they did I not do anything about it … our room says for 3 people but unfortunately space did not permit it so we had to take another room . For price it is not good but I have to say it is a very beatific place . Another annoying thing it is that you can not go to water at the beach, as the Masai do not allow you without charge you 150 usd to go with your to water …. It is imposible to go out of hotel boundary … they put in front animals to say that it is unsafe to walk in there ..::

It was one of the nicer resorts we have stayed in and must mention - Ally the Manager and Chef Dinesh , they were the best thing in the resort . Very helpful and accommodative. Very nice resort and super friendly staff. Giving 4 stars because I feel the outside area in Grand Lux suite could have been upkept better also some bath towels had stains on them. Other than that my stay here was lovely would return again. The food was great too

I celebrated my honeymoon on June 8th at Lux and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. In fact, I plan to return next year at the same time. I hope to see Grace, who works at the reception. She truly deserves to be a manager. Lux, I am coming back and would love to stay in the same room, number 65. Thank you for making my honeymoon a magical experience for my wife and me.

The workers there were well mannered and hardworking. I noticed that the first day I was there. They make sure your arrival is very welcoming and will go out of their way to make everything as comfortable for you. And of course the property there is beautiful. Would give this hotel a lot more stars if I could! We had an amazing time from the moment we checked in l, to when our stay came to an end. The hotel is elegantly designed and perfectly maintained. Our bedrooms were large, clean and had a good layout with the most comfortable bed and pillows I could imagine. The staff were very friendly and approachable throughtout - always asking how we were, if we needed anything and wanted us to enjoy our stay. Special mentions go to Christopher, Glory and Norah at reception/housekeeping and Ursulina our waitress and Dinesh the Head Chef who made sure we were well looked after. The beach, pool and spa are all clean and again well maintained. This hotel is smaller than some of the others in the area and I think that adds to its charm plus staff go out of their way to ensure guests comfort. I would highly recommend!

It's been a week since my vacation, and I'm still in awe of how perfect my stay at the hotel was. The hotel excels in every aspect, from the friendly and attentive staff who anticipate your every need to the delicious food and fantastic activities on offer. The rooms are very spacious and clean. In the evening, the housekeeping staff even prepare the beds for sleeping and replace the towels again. There are wonderful entertainment programs in the evening, such as open-air cinema. The hotel has a family-like atmosphere, with the staff checking in on your well-being daily and engaging in relaxed conversations. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to return soon.
