We have been loyal and repeat customers to the Majestic Resort family. This was our 4th visit to the Majestic Elegance. We booked the Elegance Club package and we did not receive that upon check-in. I check in you're supposed to be taken to the club check-in lounge. We were not. We were put in a separate room off to the side. We were then told in broken English that they had no rooms available in the club level and that they were still going to give us the club benefits. But our room would be in the regular section. We then waited 45 minutes for a butler to show up. The whole thing was very scattered and poorly organized. We were given a $200 credit to be used at the logo shop or the spa in way of apology for not having our room. When we are finally taken to our room, it was directly across from the main pool bar and was very loud. The only request we made was to have a quiet room. We immediately told our Butler that this was not acceptable and that we needed a quiet room as this was a quick vacation for rest and relaxation not partying. We were told that there was no options available and that she would check for us the next day. Everyday was the same story. Nope. We have no rooms available in the club level and we have no quieter rooms available for you. We also didn't have hot water in our tub. We were never acknowledged as repeat visitors. It's very discouraging when we have promoted and encouraged others to visit The Majestic Resorts in Punta Cana.

We had room 2242 a junior suite by the pool. Friendly staff. Very clean room. Well maintained beach. Had an issue with our phone working and they fixed it right away. Communication could be difficult as many of the workers didn’t speak/understand English. They would say, “Yes, I understand” but then we wouldn’t get what we needed. I will have to use my translation app more next time. Many pools but the two we were in had chipped tiles at the bottom so it made it uncomfortable to walk and made the pool experience not as positive as we would have liked. Food was great. A lot of dessert options in the buffets. Wish our room was closer to the food options as we only had 1 food place by the beach and room service near us. At night, room service is NOT free. That I did not like. There was a late night fast food place open but we went one night and the whole menu wasn’t available only chicken wings and it was a Monday night at 11pm (they stay open till 7am) For an all inclusive, we should have more access to late night food options at no additional cost. Overall, nice relaxing experience. Resort was beautiful. Would visit again.

Upon arrival we were told that we would be upgraded to a room that was $250 more.And we would get it for free as long as we gave the lady at check-in some money. What?? Its off season i understand but why are you asking for $$$ we are your guests!! The room we got that was supposedly so wonderful actually had the worst air conditioning, the shower broke, the toilet clogged. And it was no better than the cheaper. And I gave the lady $50 at the desk for helping us out what a joke!! We were kicked out of the pool at 6 PM each night Most of the restaurants were closed when we wanted to go Listen I understand there are off and on seasons. But you should staff correctly for all seasons. So everyone has a great time. Because I wanted to bring around a group of 20 people next year. But I may be looking somewhere else.

Staff was excellent. Service was great. Our room was a little outdated. Building looks older and could use some renovation but it was clean. Booked an all inclusive. Food was a hit or miss. Rating food 7/10. Location was excellent. Rating location 10/10. Property right on the beach.

Very clean property and lots of bars. I like that the pool was big and the beach steps away. The restaurant schedule was a mess as some were closed and the communication about this was not the best. They need to update the site and daily schedule to show this. The cleaning crew cleaned my room but did not replace all my towels so a few were missing. The entertainment team were a bit pushy about joining their activities and the peddlers on the beach got annoying after a while. Too much interruption when all I wanted to do was rest and nap.
