Beach was good no seaweed but you need to come early to get seat under shade! Entertainment at evening feel like stuff entertained there selfs! Hotel is dark when you try to go back to your room after dinner they need to put more lighting!

Live Aqua was amazing. Visited for my birthday trip, and the staff made me feel like a regular. After the trip I just had, I just might become VIP. Plenty food options, entire resort is beautiful, and fun interactions throughout the day. All staff were helpful and attentive. Shoutout to Jensky, Joe, Noris, Marian, Rosa, Nancy, Adrian, Joel, Salvador, July, Jhonny, Miguel, George, and Delvin! They truly made my experience unforgettable. Thank you!! If you’re looking for a safe solo spot or a couples trip, I’d highly recommend Live Aqua in Punta Cana.

Overall we had a great time at Live Aqua. The staff was the most hospitable I’ve ever experienced at a resort. You can tell it is very intentional. The restaurants were very good. In fact, there was a culinary approach to the food and experience. We had the swim up room which was really nice but you can tell that the resort is a bit worn. Our sink retained water for several minutes before draining. The headboard was pulling away from the wall. The other disappointment was there were no a la cart food options after 10:00. Finally the entertainment was top notch. The best I’ve experienced at any resort. The Michael Jackson show and Dominican show were incredible. I do recommend the resort but you’ll need to manage your expectations in the areas I shared.

Beautiful hotel. Not as big as I expected it to be. The restaurant staff goes over and beyond. But our room was not stocked everyday or fully cleaned everyday even after asking over and over. The cleaning lady didn’t sweep our floor. Plus we walked in on cleaning lady and she had our door blocked by her cart and when we went in to see why she was in the room it didn’t look like she was doing anything at all. Made me feel like maybe she was being snoopy. I enjoyed myself with the other guests that were there. But hotel overall is beautiful.

A beautiful experience. The resort is well designed, the staff is warm and attentive, and the food options are excellent. The beach and pools are clean and relaxing, and the overall vibe is calm and luxurious. I would add more none pork products to breakfast for the people who do not eat pork. On the very last day, we had a bad experience with one of the waiters on the main pool where he brought our drinks to the pool bed then took them back when he saw us inside the pool. Then he avoided us so we wont ask him for service. That incident wont ruin my view of the resort as all the other staff were very welcoming. Big shout out to Reynaldo for making our stay enjoyable. For a VIP access hotel we expected an upgrade but was not offered. The 50 usd spa credit is only for massages and does not apply on hydro therapy in the spa, not sure why. Mosquitos are wild there, got back with 12 bites so make sure to be prepared.
