I am unsure if I simply got off on the wrong side of the bed the morning I checked in and the next few days was unable to reset regardless of my efforts. From the first interaction, I’m left generally unimpressed, confused, dissatisfied and aggravated with my stay. The positives - I had a wonderful time with my family. The hospitality workers- bartenders, performers all are lovely. Lively. Welcoming. Sandy at the main pool was simply joyful. The negatives- I wasn’t told I had a preferred suite, our check in agent was rude and dismissive and once she saw I was preferred simply waived me off to their area. A glass broke in one of the bathrooms and I asked for cleaning. My son stepped in it. I went to dinner and returned- not cleaned. Once again - please clean glass. Went to show returned, cleaning left chunks of visible glass. I discussed this with the concierge the following morning. I returned and still the room was not cleaned. Instead of an apology, I was told that we had the DND sign. We did not have the sign on room. I just don’t understand the back and forth and refusal to say- I’m sorry. The preferred status is not worth anything. The premium pool, you don’t get food service to lounge chairs- only for cabanas which they want to charge additional for. The premier restaurant is either understaffed or the preferred status oversold? The wait is longer for seating. There is no difference between a preferred room and a regular one. There isn’t enough space to continue

Our family had a wonderful time at Dreams Onyx. The facilities were incredible and the staff was really friendly. Edwin made our time at the beach unbelievable. His energy and friendly demeanor were unmatched. We will remember this trip fondly because of Edwins amazing service and for taking care of us so well!

The rooms were clean and the resort is absolutely gorgeous. The food wasn’t very good which is why I’m giving this resort 4 stars instead of 5. There’s a lot of bars placed in convenient spots and service was pretty good. We loved Cesarin from the Mixology bar! The waterpark area was super fun. There’s a lazy river, 4 slides, and huge beachballs to play with. I would definitely return.

Overall was good. The only thing I was that not all restaurants for dinner were opened. The buffet it was not as I expected. The food was not bad the variety was not too much. The staff was very nice and kind. The room was clean and spacious. The stay was good.

Got Ecoli from restaurant- and very hard to find gluten free options. Ended up leaving a day early and told we would get refund for the night we weren’t there but never recieved one.
